Behold the Void, please close the other thread. I have decided to expand the story in the style that you used in your Sora vs Cloud battle story, and make a new thread. Here is is: the expanded edition of my tsunami story.

The Dark Force 1: Tsunami

Tsunami: Wave of Death

Story

On December 26th, 2004, an underwater magnitude 9.0-9.5 earthquake struck off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia, triggering a devastating tsunami that hit 15 countries in southeastern Asia. More than 200,000 people were killed, the largest death toll in any tsunami, and caused billions of dollars in damage.

Rayanna Riakhati, an ordinary Indonesian teenage girl, is originally from America, but moved to Indonesia in 2002 at the age of 10. She lives in the city of Bande-Aceh, Indonesia, which was completely destroyed by the tsunami. She lost all of her properties, as well as all of her friends and all but one member of her family: her father. Before the tsunami, she was very happy and upbeat, but after her life was torn apart, she fell into a depression, and was on the verge of death. However, she ended up befriending a mythical creature named Rahara, a giant bird with the power of water and ice.

The story

August 29th, 2005. A storm named Hurricane Katrina devastates the American Gulf Coast, including the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Not many of them lost loved ones, but they still lost all of their property, and the government didn’t do enough to help them. Rayanna understood their pain and wrote to them, as she experienced the same thing when the tsunami tore her own life apart; in fact, her story was much worse that theirs.

Shortly after that, she traveled to another realm in a dream. She landed on a mysterious dark surface, and looking around her showed nothing but darkness… or at least until thousands of white doves magically appeared and revealed a large, circular surface showing various images for the tsunami destruction. From above, lights of sparkling glitter showered all around her. A mysterious voice came then spoke to her, telling her to choose her destiny. Four weapons appeared before her, each symbolizing a unique power. The four powers were the power of the mystic (in the form of a staff), the power of the soldier (in the form of a cannon shooter), the power of the warrior (in the form of a sword), and the power of the guardian (in the form of a shield). The power of the mystic granted a great inner strength. The power of the soldier granted great intelligence. The power of the warrior granted invincible courage. The power of the guardian granted great kindness to aid those in need. She had to pick three and give up one. She chose the powers of the mystic, soldier, and guardian, and gave up the power of the warrior, as she dislikes war. She then had to fight. She was skilled at martial arts, and those skills were complemented by the ability to control water power. Suddenly, many mysterious dark creatures of magic and cybernetics appeared all around her. Even more interesting is that not all of these creatures were earthly; some were from Mars! There were so many creatures, about a hundred of them, surrounding her, but with her skills, she managed to eliminate every single one. A door then appeared before her, and her fallen family and friends all appeared before her. They asked her about what she wants in life, what she dislikes, and what she is afraid of. She wanted friendship, love, peace, and strength, disliked war, and was afraid of being different in a weird way. After she answered those questions, she was taken back to the “dream world”, and the mysterious voice told her that they day that she would defeat the dark force would be both far off and very near. A flight of stairs appeared before the circular surface that she was standing on, leading to another circular surface. She climbed up the stairs, and at the top, she found another door. She went through, and all of a sudden, a giant dark magical monster creature appears. The massive size of the monster scared her; she tried to run away, but she almost fell off the surface, so she had no choice but to fight the monster. The mysterious voice told her not to be afraid, because she held the mightiest weapon of all. Lightning flashed in the sky above her. The monster summoned various traps and obstacles, including laser beams and summoning many of the other normal creatures. It was an intense battle, having to run and jump really fast in order to dodge all of the obstacles that bombarded her, but amazing, she managed to overcome every single obstacle to defeat this monster. She ran and jumped all over, dodging every laser that shot at her, managing to stay on the surface, and whenever she had the chance to land critical blows, she went in and landed as many critical blows as she could until the monster was defeated. When it was defeated, the monster faded away by dissipating. Streaks of dark ink appeared as the dissipation took place. Then, another giant dark creature appeared, this time, it was a cybernetic creature. She had to dodge lasers and missiles, as well as avoid other summoned enemies, to defeat the monster. When it was defeated, it broke into many pieces, and those pieces dissipated. Finally, an extremely massive creature, this time a hybrid of dark magic and cybernetics, appeared before Rayanna. This was the toughest battle she would face, not only dodging missiles and lasers, but also sparks, atomic explosions, shockwaves, flash projectiles, and even meteors and comets, as well as avoiding other summoned enemies. Despite all of this, like the other two monsters before it, she defeated it. However, after it was defeated, it didn’t just dissipate; it exploded in a massive fireball of black flames, and Rayanna was almost swallowed up by the darkness... until her fallen family and friends saved her and pulled her into the light.

She was shocked, because they were dead, but their spirits lived on, and said that they will always be in her mind, heart, and soul. When she woke up, she felt that she wasn’t alone anymore.

She began to befriend other victims of the tsunami disaster in Indonesia. They all banded together, united in their minds, hearts, and souls. They could feel their fallen loved ones with them, coming down from heaven.

On the one-year anniversary of the tsunami, the dark force struck. The same mysterious creatures that she fought in her dream were terrorizing the entire regions where the tsunami struck. The landscape had turned into what looked like the underworld, and the sky turned dark and gothic. The spirits of her three fallen friends told her: “Rayanna, the time has come. It is time for you to fight.” And so, she fought, with the help of Rahara, eliminating all of the enemies. After that, the landscape and sky turned back to normal.

“What, or who, is behind this?” Rayanna wondered. Her friends told her that back in 1970, a teenage girl named Camille Goodair defeated a dark force associated with 1969’s devastating Hurricane Camille and faced the same magical creatures. Those cybernetic creatures didn’t not arrive until the 21st century, with the advanced technology that the world has today. Camille had to work with an army of superheroes to defeat the dark force, and she did. The storm struck the Gulf Coast and was comparable to the recent Hurricane Katrina. And then, a dark storm struck the Destiny Islands of Hawaii, and a boy named Sora was chosen to wield a mysterious weapon known as a “Keyblade” to travel to another realm and defeat enemies known as heartless and nobodies, of which the heartless are actually the dark magical creatures that Rayanna just fought. It turned out that a man named Xehanort, who succumbed to the darkness, created this dark force, but not without taking his mentor’s name, Ansem. The real Ansem was experimenting, but found that it was too risky and destructive to continue with the experiment, so he stopped, but Xehanort continued it, and it resulted in him creating a dark force. The cybernetic creatures are called sentinels, which were created by a mutant named Magneto, who had the ability to control magnetism, and fronted a villain group called the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. The good mutants joined another group known as the “X-Men”. The good and evil mutants were assisted by the superheroes and supervillains, and a massive fight took place in an island formed near New York City. The island was destroyed, and, although none were killed, many were injured. The President of the United States, George W. Bush, passed the “Superhero Registration Act” which required all superheroes to register as “living weapons of mass destruction”. Some supported it, while others didn’t, and a “superhero civil war” took place, but it all ended on September 11th, 2001, when terrorists committed the most destructive act of murder ever witnessed, when hijackers crashed two planes into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, as well as in the Pentagon in Washington DC, and passengers fought on the fourth plane that crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. In all, about 3,000 people were killed that day, and the world changed forever. All superheroes then revealed their identities to the world to prove that they were not with the terrorists, and wanted to help find those responsible for the act, but Bush forbade them. He also forbade them to help in the tsunami and Katrina relief efforts, so the superheroes’ service was limited to only fighting their enemies. Then, two teenagers from a mysterious place located at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy were chosen to defeat a dark force that threatened to destroy all multiverses, working with superheroes from Earth.

Meanwhile…

A conversation is taking place between four villains named Xehanort, Pete, Magneto, and Darkseid.

Xehanort: This will be my residence of darkness, right here in this tsunami-devastated region.

Pete: Yes, Xehanort, do so.

Magneto: It’s a partnership between us.

Darkseid: Yes, We will use this location for our darkness base, and then, we will rule the world!

All laugh.

The superheroes of today visited Indonesia and stood guard for three days straight, battling any and all heartless or sentinel that appeared. On the fourth day, a mysterious dark and dangerous cyborg warrior named Cyber-Akuma appeared. He asked about a man named Ryu, one of the greatest world warriors on the planet, residing in America, but partially raised by a Japanese karate master. Ryu was looking to settle the score with him for trying to make him succumb to the darkness, but he refused, so when Akuma hit him with the dark power, he resisted, which resulting in the creation of an evil clone of himself. Ryu sent that clone to another dimension, but was unable to find Akuma. He was seeking to eliminate his darkness once and for all. Akuma then asked Rayanna where Ryu is and what he is doing, and then asked her who she is and about her. After figuring out that she was a chosen messiah by the Rahara creature, Akuma then challenged her to a one-on-one match to test her power.

Akuma really gave Rayanna a hard time with his devastating attacks, including a raging flash. The two also battled in mid-air, with several aerial attack sequences. Akuma was fast, strong, and extremely powerful, and in fact landed a raging flash on Rayanna, but she survived to land a very powerful final blow on Akuma, defeating him. After the match, he said the Ryu was the only one who can eliminate him. He then directed her to find Ryu and tell him that Akuma is looking to settle things.

Later on, Rayanna and the others watched as Ryu and Akuma fought.

“Ryu! Get him!” they shouted. They fought on the ground and in the air, performing various stunts and tossing projectiles all throughout the battle. They then paused, so that Akuma could speak to him.

“Pathetic. Defeating me is meaningless. You know that more than anyone, Ryu. No matter how many times I fall, the presence of the Dark Hadou within you keeps calling me back! And now that I have my new cybernetic power, you will be the eliminated one! I will eliminate you on the very place where the tsunami struck!”

“Wrong!” said a little boy’s voice.

“Shun! Stay back!”

“Well, well, now, isn’t this interesting; it’s your little brother. You cannot help him now; the darkness will take over him once and for all!”

“That’s not true! I am his light, and as long as I live, he will never succumb to your darkness!”

“Not unless I kill you!”

“Look out!” shouted Rayanna.

Ryu ran and slam-kicked Akuma out of his performance of the raging flash, landing in front of Shun to protect his little brother.

“Big brother, I will share my light with you.”

“The light doesn’t suit you!”

“I just… don’t know…” said Ryu. His body began to glow with light.

“STOP!” said Akuma, charging at Ryu while he charged his fist up, but it was too late:

BOOM!

Akuma successfully performs the raging demon on Ryu, but is he dead?

No. He survived, and then…

“HA! SHIN… SHOOOOOURYUUUUU-KENNNNN!!!!!”

With a mighty blow, equivalent to the power of a rocket engine, Ryu sends Akuma to the sky, and as he falls back down to the ground, his body begins to fade, and when he reaches the ground, he falls into a vortex hole that sends him to another dimension.

Shun then runs to Ryu and hugs him.

“Thank you, Shun… for sharing your light with me.”

“You’re welcome.”

And with that, the other superheroes cheer, and then, it’s time to get back to work.

The next day, they witnessed something totally unexpected: UFOs landing on the ground, and aliens invading the region! It turns out that two alien teams, one good and one evil, have landed in Indonesia. The evil Alien team is among Mars’ most wanted list. They are teaming up with the Earth villains to separate the tsunami-devastated region from the rest of the planet, and put it on a single mini-planetoid, and will use that planetoid to carry out operations to destroy both planets! The good alien team can stop them, but they need help from Earth’s heroes. He villains from Earth and Mars spent that day preparing for the final battle tomorrow, as the tsunami region on Earth separates from the planet!

The next day, the final battle began. The four Earth villains and their alien allies took over the region and created tsunamis of dark water. The sky turned black, and the ground turned into a dark underworld. Lightning crackled in the sky as a war was about to begin. Rayanna, the superheroes, and the alien hero team had to destroy and overcome several various obstacles in order to reach the villains, including everything from lasers to missiles to meteors to even buildings! When they finally reached them, the eight total bosses revealed that their collection of hearts, minds, and souls included every single fallen victim who perished in the tsunami! And there is one heartless creature for every fallen victim! The supervillains left and over 200,000 heartless creatures appeared around the superheroes. It was an incredibly long battle, but they set every heart, mind, and soul free. When their hearts were set free, they reappeared in front of Rayanna and said “We shall assist you, chosen one.” Finally, the eight villains reappeared, and the final battle began. The eight supervillains fused inside a giant dark magical-cybernetic hybrid monster creature. The superheroes defeated the supervillains, and they were all sent to another dimension. The land that the battle took place on then floated back to Earth, was immediately restored back to the way it was before the dark force struck.

That night, a hole in the sky appeared. It shined gold light, and the spirits of the fallen emerged from the ground. The entire tsunami-devastated region was lit up, and spirits rose up into the sky. They sang songs of grief, but hope as well. The beautiful vortex in the sky spanned various colors of the rainbow, as well as white, gold, silver, and bronze, and sparkled, with dazzling, glittery light shining. Thousands of shooting stars shot across the sky. At the end, a keyhole appeared, and Sora took out his keyblade and sealed it to prevent the heartless from destroying the place again. The keyhole then disappeared and showed a sky ablaze with stars.

A boy's voice shouted: "Rayanna!"

Rayanna's lost-lost boyfriend came over and found her at last.

"Oh, my love, where have you been? I miss you!" she said with tears in her eyes.

"I moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for a year, and then, after I heard about you, I came back here!"

"Oh, thank you." They hug and kiss.

Rayanna's boyfriend has also lost all of his family except his father. He didn't want to come back to Indonesia, so he left for Baton Rouge. After earing about Rayanna in the news, he came back to Indonesia and met Rayanna.

"I'm gonna love you until the day I die," Rayanna said to her boyfriend. "I love you too", said her boyfriend.

The Alien heroes offered their thanks, and offered to help out in the tsunami relief efforts. “Remember, Rayanna, you are not alone anymore; we are here to help you; you are our mission!” the Earth superheroes told Rayanna before heading back to the United States. “And don’t forget about us!” said the Martian superheroes. “Thank you, all of you, both of you, very much” said Rayanna. “Fighting alongside all of you was a great honor!” The superheroes all said “You’re welcome,” before they headed back to the United States on Earth and Mars, respectively. She felt better now, and would aspire to be a leader in the recovery of the countries devastated by the tsunami.
