Default A pretty nice story.

I have just typed up a pretty good story. It's amatuerish.
The name of the story is called Death to all

Chapter 1
Death’s Awakening

The town is called Pikes. All races live happily together in harmony. It is a prosperous town in which there is no violence. The town has been at peace since the war with the demons 16 years ago. Many races were nearly wiped out but now few remain.
Detrus, the king of demons loved secretly a woman named Artesia, who was the queen of the other races, and made love to her. But because demons were violent than the other races and caused a war between them, Artesia had no other choice but to make another world for the demons to live, including Detrus. She also didn’t him want to know that she was pregnant with two children. She gave her daughter the angelic and demonic powers and her son only demonic power. She then told Detrus who got uncontrollably angry at the thought he was going to be father. In order to keep him from his rage she had no choice but to use a lot of power to kill him. Days later, she gave birth to the children and named them, Sazume and Suzana. She gave them to a Canis who was only 84 years old. She told him to take care of them so she use her only remaining power to create portals for to two intertwined worlds. The balance was restored to the Earth and the Canis was given one of the portals to the Demon World, but was told that using that was a one time thing only.
Its 16 years later, there is a new king of demons that knows about Sazume and Suzana and will stop at nothing to see the children of Artesia fail their true missions.

Sazume was resting from his usual job, signing papers, when a woman in a miniskirt opened the door to his office. She slowly peeked her head into see who was in there. She silently snuck into the room and softly sat on his desk. She was fairly tall and beautiful for her age. Her hair was long and blonde with a red streak swaying from her face. Her blue hues, though beautiful, looked lifeless. She had a nice trim body also sporting a tail.
“Sazume…” she whispered, softly prodding him in the side with her finger, “Hey, Sazume. Wake up.” Sazume slowly opened his eyes, revealing two black hues. He leaned back in his chair and looked up at the person sitting on his desk. He ran his fingers through his blonde and red hair and yawned loudly. He was wearing his usual clothes which consisted of a dark gray shirt with matching pants and shoes. He also had a red mark under his left eye.
“What now, Suzana?” he asked partially annoyed.
“Is that all you can say to your younger sister?” Suzana replied, mildly angered, “I came here because I was bored. Don’t you think you could have built this office down where everyone is instead of high on top of a hill?”
“Then why don’t you go climb a tree and get stuck?” Sazume joked, “I mean you are partially a Felix.” Thus, it was true. Their mother was also part Felix, which is a race that looks like cats but with a human figure.
“Why don’t you spend more time with your sister and have fun sometime,” Suzana said stiffly, heading towards the door. She opened the door and hesitated, staring blankly outside his office.
“Oh, yeah, Radine said he wanted to see us,” she said, “Something about something being ‘very important.’ Let’s go down to see him.”
“I’ll be down there in a few minutes,” Sazume said, getting up from his desk and stretching.
“O.K,” his sister said, leaving the office, “Hurry though.” She slammed the door. Sazume stepped over to the window and looked out of it. There he saw his sister running happily through the town, stopping to talk to the townsfolk. At the corner of the town was where Radine lived. It was a small hut that he had lived in when he was growing up. Their grandfather lived in that hut for about a hundred years. Sazume walked out of his office and headed out to the lobby. There was a woman, in a bluish dress, sitting at a desk writing a few letters, not even noticing that Sazume was leaving the office.
“Doris,” Sazume said, “I’m taking the rest of the day off for some important business. Could you take care of things while I’m away?”
“Sure, Mister Toro,” she said with a soft smile, “I’ll manage things for you.”
Sazume opened the front doors to the one story building. Trees surrounded his office so it looked like an island in the forest. From where he was he could see the whole town and all of its inhabitants. Suzana was leaving a store with a bag of food for their dinner. She made the best food in the whole town. He could see she was not far from Radine’s hut.
“It’s time to scare her again,” Sazume said, smiling mischievously. He started in a slow jog down the hill, and then broke into a run. Everything around him slowed down. He could see people slowly greeting each other. He saw his sister slowly running towards the house. He stopped in front of her and time went back to its normal pace. Suzana bumped into him, fell down and dropped the food on the ground.
“Hey! What’s the big idea!?” she exclaimed putting the food back in the bag. Sazume did that pretty often so she really found it annoying.
“Surprised?” Sazume said standing in front of her with his arms folded across his chest.
“Damn right!” she said, getting up and dusting herself off. She grabbed Sazume by the arm and dragged him behind a building.
“You know Radine said ‘not to use your powers around everyone,’” she said whispered angrily, “If someone in the town finds out we’re demons they’ll kill us. They will KILL US.”
“O.K,” Sazume said, wrenching his arm away from his sister, “I’ll be more careful. Let’s continue to Radine’s hut.” He walked out from behind the building and put his hands in his pockets. His sister was walking next to him staring blankly at the sky. She seemed to be lost in thought. They continued to walk silently to the hut. When they got there the door was unlocked. Sazume opened the door and walked in first. His sister followed him.
“Hello!” he yelled, walking around the clean hut, opening doors left and right.
“Eeeekkk!” screamed Suzana.
“What’s wrong!?” Sazume said, running to where she was. She was right around the corner sitting on the floor shivering.
“What’s wrong, Suzana?” Sazume asked, as he cradled her in his arms.
"R-R-Radine …h-h-he was…” she stuttered.
“What happened?” Sazume said.
Suzana whispered something into his ear. Sazume got up and turned around. He opened the door and walked in the room closing the door behind him. He was in there for a while. Susana stood next to the door looking down at the floor. The door opened and Sazume exited. His face was bright red and he looked like he was freaked out.
“Suzana, I need for you to go in the living room with me and wait there,” he said staring at the ground, “Radine said he would be there in a few minutes.”
He and Suzana walked to the living room not saying anything to each other. It seemed like ages before Radine came from the back room. He walked in the living room with some clothes on.
“I’m sorry you had to see that, Suzana,” Radine said.
“I’ve never seen a Canis do that,” she blurted out. Canis are a race of dogs.
“Well, when you’re as old as me and without anybody to be around you’ll know why I-”
“O.K,” Sazume interrupted, “Enough with what had happened, why did you call us here?”
The old Canis sat down in his usual chair. Radine was at least a hundred years old, being the only oldest living person in the town. He always walked with a staff that was longer than him. It belonged to his mother. His mother died when he was seven. He was the one that raised Sazume and Suzana. The funny thing was he had mistakenly thought them the ways of Canis. He is also one of the seven remaining Canis in the world. Most of his race died in a war that happened long ago. He always wore a traditional cloth of his family around his waist and groin. Even though he looked old, he was really strong.
“It seems as though the blood of your demon father is about to reawaken,” he said, shaking his head, “I am going to try and secretly sneak you out of here before you lose your humanity.”
“WHAT!” they both exclaimed, “Why do we have go!?”
“If the towns people found out you were demons in disguise they will kill you and me for keeping you in hiding. I want you to live on even if you come back to kill people.”
“But what if we kill you?” Sazume asked. Radine chuckled at the sound of that.
“My dear boy,” he said, “You won’t be able to kill me. I am stronger than you know.” He walked over to the window of the hut and stared out of it. Sazume got up, walked over to him, and rubbed him on the head. Suzana noticed that his tail was wagging. Sazume talked to him low enough so that Susana didn’t hear their conversation.
“Radine,” Sazume said, “When will this happen and who will it happen to first?”
“The first thing,” Radine said, “is that you will turn first but I don’t know when.” His tone showed that he was sad. “The main reason I called you here is that my time is almost up.”
“What!” Sazume exclaimed lowly, “What’s wrong? Isn’t there away for you to live longer?”
“No there isn’t,” Radine said, “and if there was then I would be dead before you find it.”
“So what are we going to do now?” Sazume said as he walked over to Suzana, “When will we have to leave?
“Soon,” Radine said, “soon. You will be leaving in a month.”
“What!?” both Sazume and Suzana exclaimed, “That’s such a short time!”
“I know,” Radine said, walking over to them, “and you need to train with weapons if you want to survive in the demon world. That means I want you to get a weapon of choice in the back room and train with it before the time comes.”
“I don’t want to go back there,” Suzana said lowly to Sazume, “I wouldn’t want to step in something gooey.” She and Sazume laughed quietly.
“I heard that,” Radine said.
They both went into the back room, with Radine behind. Radine pulled back a book and the bookcase lifted revealing a secret compartment. In there was a sword, broadsword, a kitana, a bow, crossbow, a staff of elements, a trident, a scythe, a mace, an axe, a spear, and a whip. Sazume picked the scythe and a kitana. Suzana picked a bow and the staff of elements.
“See to it that you train hard,” Radine said before closing the compartment and leaving the room.

Three weeks passed quickly; Sazume and Suzana are seen battling together in an open field. Suzana was standing still holding her staff forward with her eyes closed, chanting inaudible spell. Sazume was crouching beneath tall grass focusing on Suzana. He drew his sword slowly and crept towards her silently. Suzana’s ears perked up as her heard him. She opened her eyes quickly and looked at Sazume. Sazume jumped up and was ready to bring his sword down.
“Gotcha!” they both yelled. But Suzana was the first act. She summoned a huge thunder dragon and sent it directly a Sazume. His eyes widen as the dragon charged at him. It hit him and an explosion razed across the land. He was lying on the ground, staring at the sky while his body was alight with charges coursing through him. Suzana walked over to him and stared into his black hues.
“It’s a good thing that the clothes we have are resistant to everything,” Suzana said smiling at Sazume.
“Whatever,” he said turning over to his side.
“Come on,” Suzana said running back to the town, “I’m thirsty.”
Sazume got up and looked at his body. It wasn’t full of electricity and he was ready for anything. Over time Sazume’s body has been able to regenerate itself after being harmed. He ran after Suzana trying to beat her to the town. In an instant, Suzana’s body disappeared and reappeared near the entrance near the town.
“How did you do that?” Sazume asked as he came up to her.
“I wasn’t only training in morning,” she said, sticking her tongue at him.
“That’s no fair!” Sazume complained, “No wonder you’re stronger than me.”
There is a lake that runs pure water through the town. Suzana and Sazume sat down by the lake watched the water run by. Sazume cupped his and placed them in the water. He drank it quickly as he was thirsty as his sister. He went in for another drink.
“Don’t drink so much,” Susana said, “Or you’ll…”
“Or I’ll what?” Sazume playfully joked, “What’s wrong, Sis?”
“Your…your…eyes.”
“What about my eyes?”
“They’re…they…Oh my gosh!”
“What’s wrong!?”
“Your hair has changed to black and your eyes are blood red! Tell me, do you feel funny?”
“Yes,” he said rubbing his face, “It feels like I want to kill.”
“Oh no,” Suzana grabbed him by the arm, “The transformation is starting. We need to get to Radine’s hut quickly.”
“Yes let’s hurry.” Suzana using her swift teleportation headed quickly to Radine’s hut.
“Radine,” Suzana loudly shouted, “Come quickly! Sazume’s not doing well.” In a flash Radine came from the back room and walked over to Sazume. He lifted his head and felt his forehead. He was breathing uneasily and sweating profusely. She saw him sniff Sazume’s mouth. Radine turned his head and looked at Suzana. She could see the sadness and fear in his eyes.
“What happened?” he said shakily.
“Me and Sazume,” Suzana stated, “were at the river and all of the sudden he started changing. I mean his hair was changing to black and his eyes just turned red.”
“Did you drink anything?”
“I didn’t, though Sazume drank some of the river water.”
“That’s what it must have been. The river water must be tainted by Devil’s Water.”
“What’s Devil’s Water?”
“It is water that only affects demons and brings out the killing machines they were meant to be. Sazume was affected only because he drank it.”
“Now what do we do?”
“Ugh…uhh…”
“He is awaking,” Radine said, “Sazume are you alright?” Sazume looked up at Radine and smiled. Unexpectedly, he grabbed Radine’s throat.
“Sazume, what are you doing!” Suzana screamed. She ran over to Sazume and tried to pry his fingers from Radine’s throat, “Stop Sazume!” With her shriek of terror Sazume had snapped back to reality. Seeing Radine in his hands he dropped him to the ground and grabbed his head. Radine quickly recovered and with two fingers tapped Sazume on the neck. The blow had a great effect because Sazume was knocked unconscious.
“What are we going to do with him?” Suzana said staring at Sazume.
“The only thing that we can do,” Radine said picking up Sazume’s body, “We have to put him to the demon world.” He took Sazume to the back room and pulled the same book from the bookshelf. The shelf receded and the wall of weapons appeared. He lifted the trident from the shelf causing the wall again to recede. Behind that was a giant cloudy mirror that was adorned black jewels on the frame. There was a small demon’s head with two horns and rubies for eyes on the top of the mirror.
“Don’t tell me that is-”
“Yes,” Radine said, “That is the gateway to the demon world.” He tilted the right horn of the demon and the cloudy mirror changed to a swirling mass of purple clouds.
“Quickly,” Radine said, “I need for you to check for demons on the other side while I take Sazume’s body.” Obediently, she walked through the portal. She felt as if she was being pulled apart piece by piece as she was transported to the demon world. She looked around for a few seconds before Radine came behind her. He set Sazume down gently and placed his weapons down next to him. Suzana got to her knees and sobbed softly over Sazume’s body. She whispered a few words into his ear. Radine kneeled next to her and picked her and guided her back to the human world. Suzana stepped out of the portal to the human world with Radine by her side.
“I know there was nothing you could do about that,” Radine said, “But be happy that no one…found…out-. Damn.”
“What’s wrong?” Suzana said. She looked up to find a dozen men standing in the room. Each of them was armed with a weapon.
“I knew it!” somebody said, “Radine and his daughter are demons! Get them!” The mob started to advance when Radine had stood in front of Suzana in a protective stance.
“Radine what are you doing?” she said while tears welled up in her eyes.
“I’ll protect you,” he said, “just get out-” He words never left his mouth. All he did was cough up a large amount of blood. One of the mob members had stabbed him in the chest with sword. He pulled the sword out of Radine’s body smiling maliciously as crimson blood poured from his heavy wound. Radine’s body fell to a slump, bloodshot eyes looking towards Suzana.
“Go,” he said weakly as the guy stabbed him in the chest again. Suzana watch in horror as the guy continuously stabbed Radine’s already dead body. The guy looked at Suzana.
“If you do something for all the men in this village,” he said, pulling the sword from Radine’s body, “we may let you live.” All the guys in the room began to laugh at his remark. He tied her up by her arms and legs and hoisted her over his shoulder. He carried her out of the house laughing loudly and grabbing her buttocks. The men that were left behind began burning the hut, cheering as its foundations fell to the ground. Outside the whole town was standing there watching the mob bring out Suzana. They began cheering as they saw that the guy came out with Suzana The guy dropped Suzana on her butt and held her hair as he began his speech to the crowd.
“This is a demon that Radine has been holding secret from us for years,” he yelled to them, “We don’t what to do with her. Tell me: should we kill her?” Most of the crowd cheered, raising their weapons high in the air, “Or should we make her do something else with her?” This time only the men began cheering. Suzana began sobbing as the guy brought a knife to her neck.
“Someone,” Suzana thought, “someone please help me. I’m going to die!”
“You won’t die,” someone said in her mind, “Just reach deep down inside your soul and release me.”
“You aren’t my inner demon are you?”
“No, I’m the angelic demon your mom had within her. Just take my power quickly.”
“I trust you,” she said. Instantly she felt power surging through her body. The ropes bounding her disappeared allowing her to move freely. She got up and began looking at her hands which were pulsing with light. The man next to her backed away, knowing that his captive had escaped and had obtained some powers. Regaining from the shock he gripped his sword and charged towards Suzana. Seeing the man charging, Suzana jumped in the air and noticed that two feathered wings had sprouted from her back allowing her to fly.
“Let’s see what these powers do,” she said lifting her hands over her head. They began glowing and then a bright ball began emitting a white aura appeared over her. It began expanding quickly becoming bigger than the town. She threw it down at the town. It engulfed the whole town leaving all the houses charred and killed everyone that was within the white orb. There was only a woman and her child that was cowering over in a corner outside of town. Suzana flew down to the woman and placed her hands on both of their heads. Both of them fell into and deep slumber. After they were asleep Suzana reverted back to normal and fell unconscious.

She later woke up to find herself in a house that she had never been at. It was not very bright out so it meant that the sun only begun setting. She had been lying in a bed that was completely comfortable. There was a wet towel over her forehead and a guy sitting next to her. He was a purebred Felix and pretty muscular. He was wearing no clothing whatsoever.
“Oh thank goodness,” he said, “You’re awake.”
“Where am I?” Suzana said getting up and wiping her eyes. There was a single window in the room she was in. There was also a closet next to the door. She looked at her helper and reddened. Wondering what she was smiling about, he had realized that he was in the presence of female. He quickly covered his groin with a cloth that was lying on the bed by her feet.
“I’m terribly sorry that you had to see that,” he blurted out, highly embarrassed.
“Don’t worry about that,” she said, “But can you tell me where I am?”
“You’re in the town called Sataros,” he stated, “the town of Felix. I found you knocked out next to a woman and a child. They didn’t know where they were. I took you here and sent for someone to get the others. Can you tell me what happened at that town?”
“I-I-I can’t remember,” she faked, “All I remember is that the townsfolk killed my father because they thought he and I were demons.”
“Of course those damn humans,” he said pacing himself across the room, “They think they’re superior to other races. I can’t wait until they’re all dead.”
“But what about me,” Suzana asked, “do you wish me dead because you know I am half human?”
“It doesn’t matter because you are also part Felix,” he said, grabbing her hand and looking into her eyes. She looked away and blushed.
“Do you have anything information about the Demon World?” Suzana said getting out of the bed.
“Yes, but it’s far from here,” he said, “It’s in the town called Clatery. It has a library that will give you the information that you need. I’ll go with you there if you need any help.”
“I’ll appreciate that,” she said, “By the way, do you have any clothes for me?”
“Yes, I do.”
“Would you mind if I get changed?”
“Oh, not at all,” he said. He went over to the closet, opened the doors and pulled out some clothes. He sat down on the bed watching Suzana change in front of him. She had noticed that he was watching but didn’t mind. But when she took off her shirt his nose started bleeding and she couldn’t help but chuckle.
“What’s so funny?” he asked.
“You are,” she said laughing a bit harder, “You can’t help but stare, huh?”
“To tell you the truth,” he said wiping his nose, “I have never been in the presence of a woman and the even bigger truth is that this is a town of male Felix. So if I were you I’d be careful about talking to anybody here. The men here have never seen a female Felix, let alone a person like you.”
“I see,” she said, taking off her torn pants, which she then tossed them to the guy, “By the way, what is your name?”
“My name is Haiku,” he said, tossing the pants in a basket, “and yours?
“I’m Suzana,” she said putting on the white shorts, “Nice to meet you Haiku.”
“Let me ask you a personal question, Suzana.”
“Go ahead and ask me anything.” He blushed when she said that. He walked over to her and whispered his question into her ear.
“Oh my,” she said at the question he asked, “Really?”
“Yes,” he said turning around and looking out the window, “So do you mind?”
“If you feel more comfortable and besides I’ve been around my brother and father so I wouldn’t mind.”
“O.K” he said. He loosened the cloth around him and let it drop revealing his maleness, “We need to get going soon. And before I forget here are your weapons that I found in a hut.” He handed Suzana her staff, bow and arrows.
“What about food?” she asked.
“Don’t worry; I know a lot about foods in the wild. Let’s rest up though.”
“I feel the same way, too.” Haiku left the room and left Suzana alone to herself. She laid back down on the bed thinking about Radine’s death and how Sazume was in the demon world. It was late at night when Haiku came in the room to find Suzana sleeping silently. He crept towards the bed and laid down in it next to her. He felt her hand rub against his head, causing him to purr without warning. When she noticed that he was in bed with her she move closer to him. He turned around to find two glowing eyes facing him. Then, he kissed her on the lips.

Meanwhile, after Suzana had left Sazume he had awakened in a world that was different than him. He was in a forest that was surrounded by a thick and heavy fog. He couldn’t see a thing. He listened closely to hear anything around him. Surely enough, a demon came through knocking trees out of the way. He was a tall green ogre carrying a thick club the size of the trees in the forest.
“Human!” Seeing the newcomer in his forest, the ogre began wildly swinging his club at Sazume. He jumped out the way with his quick reflexes as the club bore down in the ground, leaving a big crater. He noticed his sword and scythe lying on the ground next to the ogre’s foot. He race over to them and grabbed the sword. He focused his dark power on the sword's blade causing markings to appear on it which brightly glowed a bright orange. He jumped on the ogre’s leg which it hit with the club. A sickening crunch sounded loud as the ogre broke its own leg. As it fell down on its face Sazume jumped on his back. He stabbed the sword in its back and ran up towards its head causing the sword to glow. The sword’s glow was draining the life of its stabbed victim. Eventually the ogre stopped moving and evaporated into the air.
“Humph!” Sazume said, “Some demon.” Feeling his new powers coursing through his body Sazume set out to go search for a house. He grabbed his scythe and cut the inside of the handle out. He stuck the sword in the new sheath of the scythe. Using the scythe, he spun it around in circles watching as it cut through the thick trees and knocked them away from him. He then jumped in the air with the scythe still spinning and brought the blade to the ground which caused a giant wave of air to barrel down in one way, slicing through the trees.
Through the newly cleared path, Sazume could see a settlement and the sunshine on the other side. He ran through the path he made and ran out of the forest to feel the rays of sunshine finally touching his body. He was on a tall hill that was not far from the town. He began running down the steep slope and jumped off of it causing him to fly towards the town. He did a nosedive to the middle of the town and land on his feet erupting a wave of air to blow through the town. It looked empty because there was no action happening in the town.
“Hey!” someone said.
“Where are you?” Sazume questioned.
“Right here,” the mysterious voice said. Sazume looked next to the house he was at and saw a person in a black cloak. He was tall and his face was covered in darkness.
“You’re the son of the previous Demon King, Detrus,” the person asked, “Aren’t you?”
“What if I am?”
“I am the person that has been waiting for the son or daughter of the Demon King to come.” The man began advancing towards Sazume.
“What do you want from me?”
“I have been waiting to kill you.”

I'll add Chapter 2 as soon as I can.

Chapter 2
The Servant of the King

“Why don’t you try me,” Sazume said pulling the sword from the sheath of the scythe. He advanced towards the man slowly watching is every movement. However, the man wasn’t even moving. Seeing this obvious chance Sazume charged towards the man bringing his sword down straight at the man’s skull. He thought he hit bone and skin but the man had teleported away from the spot and stood in the middle of the town.
“Don’t underestimate me.” The man bent low and wrote something on the ground. He then pulled a knife out and cut his hand letting the blood drip on the writing. The letters lit up and instantly bound Sazume in an invisible wire. He squirmed and wiggled to get loose but the wire was too strong.
“Let me out of here,” he yelled, “Or you’ll see my true power.”
“Let’s see if you have true power,” he man said.
He then waved his hand in a circular motion causing the wire the squeeze Sazume. He began to yell as the wire started cutting into his body. Blood started dripping out of his wrist and legs. The blood fell on the wires revealing where they were. At one moment he felt his body become limp, then he felt extreme power coursing through his body. His physical appearance changed. His body had grown bigger breaking the wires. The gashes n his body had quickly healed. He grew two red horns on his heads, fangs formed in the mouth and hands became claws.
With sword in hand, Sazume’s new body had begun on a rampage. He slashed at the man, each slash sending beam of black energy. The man easily dodged each one of them. The man dripped his blood on the knife he had, which grew three times its length. Sazume charged at the man with his sword but the man reacted quicker than Sazume. He plunged the sword in Sazume’s chest, causing him to scream in agony. But the image of the demon disappeared. Sazume came down from the sky with a horizontal slash. A blade of dark energy flung from the sword hit its target. When Sazume landed the man’s body split in two. He stood smiling as the man’s blood sprayed everywhere including on him. Sazume reverted to his human form and fell to his knees. This is too much for much for me, he thought. He heard clapping somewhere from the town.
“Great job, Sazume,” the voice said.
“Show yourself you coward,” Sazume said turning in every direction to find the person. He appeared in front of Sazume knocking him off balance. He looked just like the same person but this time Sazume noted that he had a tail.
“I am the guy you just killed,” he said, bowing towards Sazume, “I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Niter.”
“Who are you?” Sazume said getting up and pointing his sword at the man’s head.
“I am one of the most loyal servants of your father,” he said getting up and moving Sazume’s sword away from him, “Your father left me to offer my services to you.”
“How can I trust you?” Sazume questioned, sword still pointing to the man.
“How can you not trust me?” Niter asked.
“You just attacked me.”
“I just empowered your demon.”
“That maybe true but I still don’t trust you,” he said sheathing his sword.
“I do know about Radine.”
“Explain yourself!”
“Radine is my brother, or my half brother. You see, I, unlike Radine, am a Lycanthrope, a werewolf to be precise.”
“Reveal your face.” The man dropped his whole cloak to reveal a wolf like person standing before him. His eyes were the color of gold and his fur was a blackish color. He had been standing on his hind legs for awhile because he got down on all fours. His paws had nails as long as Sazume’s fingers. He seemed to be keeping control of himself because while he was looking at Sazume, Sazume noticed that he was drooling at the mouth.
“I though werewolves only change during the light of a full moon,” Sazume said.
“You thought wrong. People who are bitten by werewolves transforms during a full moon. I am a purebred werewolf, meaning I was born this way. Radine was only a wolf because our mother was a Canis. But during a full moon, people like me, lose control of our thoughts, our humanity, and our control, causing us to kill anything near us.”
“It seems as though you know a lot.”
“I know more than you know.”
“Tell me.”
“We don’t have time now; the others will be back soon.”
“What? There are others like you?”
“Yes, this is a town of Lycans. If they return to find you, they won’t turn you into a werewolf, they’ll kill you.”
“Is there any way to avoid this?”
“Become a werewolf or become my territory,” he said, advancing towards Sazume.
“I’d rather be your territory,” Sazume said backing off, “How do I do that?”
“Come here,” Niter said smiling, showing his rows of fangs.
Minutes later, Niter is standing outside, while Sazume is in Niter’s house drying himself off. The other Lycans where just walking into town when Sazume came outside. They looked at him while they walked by. One of them stopped to talk.
“Niter, he wouldn’t happen to be a friend of yours?” he said. Niter didn’t say anything. The man looked at Sazume, “And who are you lad?” He sniffed Sazume and began laughing. He whispered something to the others and they began laughing, too.
“Niter gone and made you his property, eh?” the man said. The group dispersed, leaving Niter and Sazume alone.
“That’s the last time I do something like that,” he said angrily to Niter.
“Be glad; fool,” Niter said, “because if you were a werewolf you would have to take a trial.”
“Niter, I have a question,” Sazume said.
“Ask me anything.”
“Do any of the other Lycan know that you were a ser-?” Niter had covered Sazume’s mouth.
“No, they don’t,” he said watching Sazume struggle to remove his hand, “Let’s get something to eat.” They re-entered Niter’s house and went into the kitchen. Sazume’s weapons were lying on the floor in a corner. There was a table that had two chairs and a chest was in the corner. Niter opened it and a rancid smell escaped from the box. Sazume had to hold his nose to keep himself from retching. Niter pulled out an animal carcass that looked like a rabbit. Niter took a big bite and began chewing.
“Do you want a bite?” Niter said with a mouth full of meat, handing it to Sazume. Sazume hungrier than disgusted took the meat and bit it. He gagged on the meat and spit it out on the table.
“What’s wrong, Sazume?” Niter said staring at him.
“I have never tasted meat as good as this,” Sazume said picking the meat up and putting it back in his mouth.
“You’re weird.”
“I have another question.”
“What now?” Niter said, grabbing the meat away from Sazume.
“Why are Lycans in the demon world?”
“We are the more evil versions of Canis. They are friendlier to people than to demons. We are a forgotten race by humans.” They ate the meat together in silence for a while. That’s when Sazume spoken up.
“What did my say my purpose in life was supposed to be?” he asked, tossing the bone on the floor.
“You are to defeat the king of and set us free from this hellhole. That was the last thing your father said to me.”
“I don’t think I can do that.”
“Oh yes you can. Your father said that you possess a very unique power.”
“Are you saying my father was that strong?”
“Of course he was. And you are too.”
“I don’t think I’m that special.”
“You are. You and your sister.”
“Wait a minute,” Sazume said, getting up from his chair, “How do you know about my sister?”
“You’re not the only person that Detrus talked about. Your father was a very different type of demon. He may have been one but he possessed human feelings. Something demons don’t have. I was his friend when we were on a pilgrimage to become strong. He was strong in magic and strength. I am strong in only magic. He told me about the human woman he fell in love with. He was happy when the woman was bearing two children. You and Suzana. He built an empire and began ruling over the whole Demon World. He wanted to combine both worlds together were we could live in happiness. That’s why the new king, whose name is Baheed, fought your father and took over the empire. I left the castle in secret because Baheed went on a killing spree, killing everybody that worked with Detrus. I am the only person left that once lived in that castle.”
“Your life must have been hard living on the run and having to accept there is a new king.”
“Enough about me,” Niter said, getting up fro the table, “it’s getting dark and I need to train you. Follow me.” He left out the house and left Sazume alone. I need to follow him, Sazume thought, I feel like I forgot something. He opened the door and walked out to see Niter bounding towards the entrance. He was wearing the same cloak with the hood over his head. He waited for Sazume and they both headed to the woods Sazume was just in. They walked through the path that Sazume made earlier.
“I wonder what happened here?” Niter said, rubbing the cut marks on the trees.
“I did that,” Sazume said, kicking down a tree. It fell down with a loud crash.
“There is something that I have to ask you,” Sazume said.
“What is it?”
“Do you know about Demon Water?”
“Yes I do. I’ve been affected by that once. I killed a lot of people.”
“I have been affected by Demon Water, too.”
“I see what you mean.”
“What are you saying?”
“Demon water eats away at a person’s feelings, leaving only rage and hatred. It only lasts for a while, but taken like doses, a person will lose humanity.”
“Did you know that Demon Water is the reason I’m here?”
“Kind of. I mean, I knew it was going to happen sooner or later.” They continued to walk through the foggy woods. There was a hut not far from them with a light burning brightly through the fog.
“What is this place?” Sazume said as they neared the hut. The hut had an eerie glow. Sazume touched the wood and instantly pulled his hand away. There was red smoke emitting from his hand.
“That’s a spell I made myself to prevent others from trying to enter,” Niter said, waving his hand across the doorknob. There was a loud click and the doorknob disappeared. The door opened automatically, letting Niter and Sazume in. There were only two rooms. Inside were shelves and shelves of books. There was a black chalkboard in the corner and a red table with a chair. In the other room were couch and an enchanted box.
“This is where I studied my sorcery.” Niter pushed aside some books that had been lying onto of the chair. He picked up a blue book and tossed it to Sazume.
“Do a spell out of that book.” Sazume studied the book for a few seconds. He set the book down and waved his hands in a circular form. He mumbled a few words and a fireball appeared in his hand. Unfortunately, the fireballs began wildly flying around the room. Niter waved his hands and the fireballs disappeared.
“That was good, for a first try,” Niter said tossing Sazume another book, “Try this advanced spell book.” Sazume flipped through a few pages and studied a page he came to. He went over to the chalkboard, wrote down some symbols and said a few words. The board began levitating off the floor and flew around the hut. Niter waved his hands yet again and the chalkboard fell to the floor.
“Excellent Sazume,” he said clapping his hands, “You’re just like your father. He was a real whiz when it came to spells. I think you might be able to best me I a fight. If you learn everything in here.”
“What’s in the box?” Sazume said grabbing another book.
“The same meat we had at the house.” He headed towards the door.
“Where are you going?”
“I’ll see you in three days,” Niter said opening the door.
“What do you mean?”
“I want you to study up on more magic. I’m giving you three days to learn how to create thing, destroy things, and even unlock things.”
“And you’re saying that I have to learn that in three days.”
“You have to; otherwise the house will destroy itself with you with it.”
“Say what?”
“I can unlock this house with the wave of my hands. And I can lock it, leaving you in here. I want you to be able to leave this house my ways of magic. Time isn’t of the essence.”
“But there a whole lot of books here. How do you expect to learn master sorcery in three days?”
“You have potential.” With that he left the hut. Sazume heard a loud click and watched Niter leave the premises.
“I might as well get started,” Sazume said grabbing another book.

“Suzana, wake up.” Haiku was standing over her gently nudging her, “Let’s get going.” Suzana opened her eyes, got out of the bed, and stretched. She yawned softly while grabbing her staff and bow, which she strapped to her back.
“Are you ready to go?” Suzana asked. Haiku nodded and offered his hand to Suzana. She accepted and he guided her out of the house. She noticed that Haiku stood a bit taller than her. He opened to reveal a town of naked Felix walking around.
“Just ignore them,” he said. They both walked close together. As soon as Suzana stepped out the house, she was crowded by men. Each of them saying they will give her something of great value if she married them.
“Hey pretty lady.” Someone grabbed Suzana’s buttocks. Tempered at what happened, Suzana turned around and hit the guy with here staff. He was as tall as Haiku but not as muscular. His fur was red and orange; eyes the color blue. He got up and grabbed her arm.
“What the hell was that for, wench?” Suzana struggled to get free but the man was too strong for her.
“Let her go, Tao.” Haiku turned around and stood in front of the man.
“Or what, Haiku? The last time I remember you were the weakest person in this whole village.” Without warning, Haiku punched Tao in the face. This sent Tao back a few feet, letting go of Suzana so he could get balance. Haiku stood tall with his arms folded smirking at Tao, who was on his knees. Tao got up and charged at Haiku. Haiku caught the guy with an uppercut that sent the man flying in the air. Haiku grabbed Tao’s head and brought it down to the ground. He picked up Tao by his neck. He unsheathed his claws and was ready to strike when:
“Please stop, Haiku,” Suzana said. Haiku retracted his claws and dropped Tao.
“I’m sorry, Suzana.”
“Oh, you got yourself a mate?” Tao was standing up wiping blood of his lip. He turned around and went away from Haiku. After what happened all the men backed away and created a path for Haiku and Suzana. They continued out of the town without worries. Out side of the town was a vast plain. Far away there was a forest.
“Haiku?” Suzana said, as they trudged through the knee high grass.
“What is it Suzana?”
“Thank you for protecting me,” she said blushing.
“Don’t worry about what happened,” he said, ruffling her hair. They continued across the plain in silence until they came to the entrance to the forest. It was a big path that could allow four people in at once. There was a sign next to the entrance in a language that Suzana didn’t understand.
“It says, ‘Forest of the Forbidden,’” Haiku said rubbing the sign.
“What language is that?” Suzana asked.
“It’s the language of the Panthera.”
“How do you know that? I mean that language. Isn’t it just like Felix writing?”
“No. There are different types of Felix. There’s your domestic Felix, like me, then there’s Panthera, Tigris, Leon, and Lynx. All of their languages are different. I studied under each language.”
“Oh, wow. You’re so smart.”
“Let’s continue.” Haiku led the way using his claws to cut down vines that were getting in their way. The forest had an eerie silence as they walked. They walked for what seemed like ages. Suddenly, Haiku stopped Suzana and perked his ears, obviously listening for something. Suzana did they same but couldn’t hear anything.
“Just listening for movement,” Haiku said. “Just stay close to me, Suzana.” Suzana hugged him around the arm and they traveled deeper into the forest. They came to a clearing in the middle of the forest. It had grass all around, surrounding a spring of water. Light was fluttering down from the treetops.
“Oh finally, water.” Suzana began running towards the spring. Haiku grabbed her arm and pulled her back. At that moment four arrows landed on the spot where Suzana was just running to. In the dense trees Suzana could see a light, faintly glowing. Haiku unsheathed his claws and began growling. Suddenly, he ran to the other side of the clearing. A rain of arrows hurtled down towards Haiku. With a quick reaction, he ran out of the way and disappeared through the trees.
Suzana began chanting a spell, holding her staff in front of her. An invisible barrier formed around her. She chanted a different spell and ice pikes formed around her. She walked towards the spring. An arrow flew down at her and bounced of. Automatically, one of the pikes zipped through the air towards the original direction of the arrow. She heard howling that almost made her go deaf. Then she smelled smoke. She could see the flames dancing around the trees. Haiku exited the trees holding his side. He fell to the ground on his stomach. He was coughing up blood and there were arrows in his back.
“Suzana,” he yelled from across the spring, “use the water to put the fire out.”
“What about those people?” she said running over to the spring.
“They are dead.” She began chanting another spell with her palm on the surface of the water. It rose up in the air and showered a mist of water into fire. With the flames extinguished, she turned her attention to Haiku. She kneeled down and rubbed his back to assure him of the coming pain. She pulled out the arrows, each tug causing him to roar in pain. When she was done Haiku began coughing up a large amount of blood.
“Are you alright?” Suzana asked rubbing his back wounds.
“I don’t think so.” He threw up some blood. “I think they hit me in a vital organ.”
“Tell me,” she said, searching for a wound, “where does it hurt?” He pointed to his side. She felt around until she came to a spot. She squeezed it gently it and pulled her hand from it. Haiku roared in pain as she touched his side. She saw the small spot where his flesh was showing. It was dripping blood.
“This is going to hurt a bit.” She wiped his blood on top of her staff. The jewel began to glow a bright red. She began chanting her spell holding the staff close to Haiku’s wound. He began roaring loudly in pain as the spell began taking affect. The jewel and Suzana’s eyes began to glow a bright white. The blood on the staff entered Haiku’s wound and closed it, stopping the bleeding. Suzana finished her spell, dropping her staff to the ground. Haiku got up and caught her before she fell unconscious.
“Suzana wake up,” he said placing his hands on her cheek. He took her to the spring and laid her down. He cupped his hands, dipped it in the water and slowly dripped it on. She slowly opened her eyes and smiled when she saw Haiku’s face.
“Are you alright?” he asked. Suzana nodded slowly. He laid her down on his lap and stroked her hair. She cuddled close to him and began crying softly.
“What’s wrong?”
“I thought I was going to lose you,” she said, burying her face in his chest.
“Don’t worry. Let’s rest for a while. We need to regain our strength before we go on.” Suzana sat up right and dipped her hands in the spring, cleaning the blood off her hands. She stroked the surface of the water and it became clear again. She took a drink of water.
“While we wait,” Suzana said wiping off her mouth, “Why don’t you teach me how to speak in the Panthera language.” She began softly purring, facing Haiku and rubbing his cheek. He grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to him.
“You learn pretty quickly,” he said kissing her on the lips. He growled in a soft voice.
“I am partially Felix,” she said rubbing him behind the ears. He laid down on her lap, purring as they continued to speak in the language:
“I want to be with,” Haiku had said.
“You don’t have to worry, Suzana purred, “I’ll always be with you.”
Haiku slowly began taking off Suzana’s clothing. He reached out with trembling hands and peeled of her shirt, exposing her breast, and pulled her close to him. His blood boiled with desire as his fingers slid down to her pants. Suzana’s fingers slid between the small of his back, causing his breathing to become fast and heavy. Their love making was savage and primal, each letting out roars of longing and satisfaction.
When they were finished, they lay side by side in the grass. Suzana snuggled up against Haiku, pressing herself into the crook of his arm and drawing on her lover’s heat to ease the shivering of her naked form. Physically spent, Haiku held on to Suzana and pretended that would stay there forever.
Suzana got up and dipped herself in the spring. Haiku followed her in the same fashion. They both cleaned themselves in the water. Suzana got out first and began chanting a spell that dried her off. She put her clothes back on. Haiku got out and shook the water off his fur.
“Let’s get going, Haiku.” She rubbed his chest and began walking away from the spring. Haiku followed her and they continued through the forest. They noticed the tree trunks becoming smaller as they came to a clearing. There was hard ground everywhere. There was a gate taller than an ogre and guarded by two black-furred Panthera with orange eyes. They were standing on all fours walking around the front of the gate.
“Be as polite as you can,” Haiku said to Suzana, “They don’t know how to speak in the human tongue. They are also quick-tempered.” Suzana stayed close to Haiku as they came to the entrance. As the Panthera saw them, they bared their teeth and began growling.
“What do you want in Sitars?” one growled in the Panthera language.
“We are here to find a place to rest,” Haiku growled.
“And what about the human Felix? Why is she here?”
“I am with him,” Suzana purred.
“Explain yourselves.”
“We are on our way to the town of Clatery. Please let us through.” The guards stood there looking at the two strange travelers. They then stepped aside and opened the gates.
“Thank you,” Suzana said, bowing towards them. Inside there was houses made of logs and grass. There were some Panthera walking on their hind legs like Haiku and some on all fours. A lot of people began looking at them as they walked about town. There were people selling fruits and foods around some parts of town. Haiku walked up to one of them and began talking in the Panthera language. After a few minutes of talking, Haiku bowed to the man and went to Suzana.
“There is a place we can rest for a while,” he said taking her to a house. It is a one-story house with four rooms. He opened the door and let her in first. Inside was a table with two chairs, a bedroom for two, a cabinet with fruits and vegetables and a box in a corner in the kitchen and small room with a closet with clothes inside. There was a bucket of water in the corner of the kitchen.
“It’s beautiful.” Suzana was lying in the bed a feeling the comfort of a bed. Haiku was looking through the cabinets and clothes.
“Come on and lay down for a moment. It feels so good.” Haiku came in the bedroom reading a white book in his hands. He looked up from his book to see Suzana changing her clothes. She hadn’t noticed him standing in the doorway of the room. He watched her, breathing softly as he crept closer to her.
“I hear you,” Suzana said, taking off her shirt. She turned around and pulled Haiku closer to her. Haiku backed away from her.
“Is there something wrong?”
“Is it me, or is your tail getting longer?” She grabbed her tail and inspected it.
“It does look longer than usual. I wonder what made it that way.”
“I wanted to tell you that I found a book of magic. Why don’t you train up on some Panthera magic?” She grabbed the book and began looking through.
“I can’t decipher this.”
“Yes, you can. If you can speak in Panthera, then you can read it, too. Just concentrate. It’ll come to you soon.”
“I’ll try.” She began looking at the book very closely and opened the pages. She went into the kitchen and sat down in one of the chairs. She never took her eyes off the book for the rest of the night. Haiku woke up to her still sitting in the kitchen with her eyes on the book.
“Suzana, why don’t you rest?” She didn’t even say anything. Her mind was on the book. He walked over to her and tapped her shoulder.
“Hey! What’s the big idea? I was just about to figure it out when you messed up my concentration.”
“Suzana, I was just trying to-.”
“No! Just leave me alone for a while!” She left out the house and slammed the door. Haiku stood there thinking about what happened.

Suzana was outside the house, walking around with the book in hand. People were walking around not caring about her. She bumped into someone and fell down, dropping the book.
“Watch where you’re going,” she growled.
“You need to watch where you’re going, woman.” The man was standing over her looking down on her. He was a bit taller than her and had a scar over his left eye. His fur was the color of Haiku’s but there was a brighter color near his eyes.
“You look so cute when you’re angry. By the way, where’s you’re partner?”
“My who?” She got up and dusted herself off.
“Your man. Your mate. The person that loves you.”
“I left the house because he was getting on my nerves.”
“He was only trying to help you.”
“How do you know?”
“Don’t you know that we can hear just about anything?”
“I’m sorry.”
“Why don’t you go back to him and apologize?”
“You know what, I’ll go do that. What’s your name?”
“That isn’t of your concern. I know that we’ll meet again.” With that he left her. Suzana picked up the book and went back to the house. She opened the door and entered the house. Haiku was in the bedroom lying down on the bed looking away from the door.
“Hey, Haiku. I’m sorry for exploding on you. Can you forgive me?”
“Suzana, there’s something wrong about this town,” he growled.
“What do you mean?” He turned over to his side to reveal that his fangs were larger and sticking outside his mouth. There were blotches of his fur that was turning red.
“Even you are changing. You human eyes are slits. You’re tail is definitely longer and you’re growing whiskers on you face. The reason why you couldn’t read that book is because you’re losing the ability to read human writing. Even our human speech is lost. All we’re doing is growling at each other.”
“This can’t be. I never thought about that. No wonder I had that anger moment. There is someone in this town that is casting a spell on us. These people must have been human for some time until they began changing.” Haiku got up from the bed and walked over to Suzana.
“The person is still here. He’s a demon in disguise. We must find him and kill him before we get trapped just like the others.”
“How are we going to do that?” The door busted open and the two guards from the gates entered. This time they were standing on their hind legs. They grabbed Suzana and Haiku by their arms.
“It’s about damn time someone from the outside found out what was happening in this town.” Someone was standing in the door behind the guards.
“You! You’re the guy that I bumped into.”
“You’ve figured out my plan to make these people Panthera forever.” He walked up to Suzana and rubbed her face.
“But why? Why are you turning these innocent humans into slaves?” Suzana asked.
“I’ll tell you later, but first we must get acquainted.”
“Demon, how did you get here?” Haiku asked.
“I found a portal harboring both worlds. I traveled here to have fun with humans. They are weak and easy to conquer. I took over this village and slowly changed everyone here to Panthera.”
“But you’re a Panthera also,” Suzana said.
“This is just a form I took when I arrived here. The guards holding you are just Panthera that foolishly wandered into the village. They maybe able to say a few words but there minds belong to me. They will obey and listen to me.”
“What do you want with us?”
“I’m the searching for the daughter of the demon king, Detrus.”
“But she’s not here.”
“Oh, yes she is. She’s been closer than you think.” He pointed his long finger to Suzana.
“Suzana? How could you not tell me about this?”
“I didn’t want to make you hate me like everybody does.”
“Enough of the lover’s quarrel, I have plans for you, daughter of Detrus.” He snapped his fingers and the guards sprinkled something over Haiku and Suzana face. They both fell into a deep sleep. They later awoke to find themselves locked in a cage together. The guards were walking around outside of the cell, looking in every minute.
“Where are we?” Suzana said, knocking on the bars.
“You’re at my castle.” The man was standing near the entrance of the dungeon. He had a black cloak on and a hood that covered his face. “Why don’t you take some time to think about what you’re going to do. Because later you and your lover are going to die.” He left the dungeon laughing loudly, closing the iron door and locking it.
“We’re going to die here, aren’t we?” Haiku said sitting in a corner of his cell.
“No, we’re not. I’ve got a plan but it’s risky.”

Chapter 3 is still progress.
