#9 'tis short, 'tis true, but the shortness makes it sweet and simple. It's not one of those mangled poems where people try to use elegant words and lose all the feelings That's bad! I love the last line, "I can see you." It adds an air of mystery to the poem, and it's almost as if the poem's ending on a cliff-hanger (Though not sure if poems can do that ) |

I gaze for hours Upon his muscle, skin and bone I'll draw his portrait So you can see This man who stands unkown |
