#1 I know I haven't posted music in a while, but that doesn't mean I'm not composing! This is the first song I've finished in a long while (I did it in one sitting. Took a good 6 hours. )Basically it's just a song written for the harp. I don't know if the harp can actually play this low though, but whatever. http://media.putfile.com/harp-80 |

| | Hmm. Does Finale make the harp sound up the chords like that itself, or do you have to write in hundreds of 128th notes? ![]() Anyway, it was pretty enjoyable. The repeating line of a note followed by another perhaps a minor third under it, then back to that note, wasn't much to my fancy. A lot of it reminded me of cliched medieval stuff. The lot of it was very well constructed and everything seemed in place and good stuff. My head isn't working very well right now, so I'll leave it with that. Maybe the Finale file would help. |

| | You can add that articulation on a chord yourself with Finale. Works for piano too. It's a nice-sounding tune, but doesn't amount to much more in my ears. edit: The harp doesn't sound like mine - are you using the same wavetable? Last edited by -N-; 05-15-2006 at 06:22 AM. |

| | I like it, can't give you any expert analysis, but... Yeah it does sound like it might've come from the Medievil-Baroque. The bass entering gives it some nice depth. I don't know the range of the harp either, but it think it's pretty close to the piano? What's up with the "other videos" on that page!?!? Oh, nevermind. I guess it's just random. I saw something pretty crazy though... |
