this is a song i jsut wrote. took me about 10-15 minutes or so. i must say that i am happy with it, which is very unusual. it is the best thing i have written in a very long time. i could tell you what it is about, but i'll leave it up to you to interpret (its obvious anyways ) please comment on it!

52 evil men, all dressed in black
Shuffling our deck

I realy like it, whats it sound like? wanna sing it and record it and post it or something? im interested.

I generaly try and stay away from words like evil, young and fly myself because they are overused and loose their meaning. Fresh, pound, soar, foul, troublesome, and disgusting are all good words for me.Using more expresive words makes you sound like you care more and can pull in the person who is listening. Then again im more of a poem guy...but when it comes right down to it songs are just poems with music.

I agree, that's the best one you've done so far! Gambling is a cool topic for songs and I like the way yours sounds in particular.

I'll post it when i get it figured out, or when i put a bass line to it. i dont really have any idea of how the beat should go. i sat down today and tried to create a bassline and created something phonomenal, all though it is more of a novelty bass solo than something that can go with this. I need to think of a beat that might go with it, then i can create something for these lyrics specifically. i would record the small bass solo i created but whenever i record even short things they turn out to be way bigger than the 2.0 megabite file limit. I will record the bass solo i jsut made though when i get it memorized and can play it cleanly. as always, i have created something that is above my skill level. sorry i have gone off a bit and ive lost my way. ill shut up now.

im pretty much looking for rock. i'd like to say punk rock but it doesnt matter. anything that sounds good works well for me. something with a catchy beat, but a cool sound. im really new to this, so i probably wont be making anything good. i will take up your offer though. if and when i record this, you can add some guitar to it. that would be cool.
