Floating

My reflection in the mirror,
Once a happy, lighthearted expression
Now full of self hatred
A dark, scarred face staring back at me
Sunken in eyes, twisted smile
Perfect white teeth
Cheeks rosy with dried blood

Water rising in its tomb,
Ready to encase my expression
Nothing to clothe me,
Sitting down and lying back
Adrenaline forcing me to the brink
Submerging into watery depths
Two feet deep
That’s all I need
Floating away, not a fear in the world
Gone now, gone forever
Happy?
