[Free Spirit]

“Laura and Jayz”

She stands unaided.
She feels so faded.
No one seems to know.
She could very well be unknown.
But there was one boy.
A boy that gave her joy.
She gave her heart.
She was very smart.
Knowing they would never part.
As time past.
They seemed to last.
She looked in his bottomless eyes.
Looking past his disguise.
Saw something new.
Something not so crude.
Something soft and true.

“Love”

Love is a wondrous thing.
It changes everything.
So pure.
There is no cure.
You lose yourself in this chaos.
Would you rather be in chaos or peace?
Your mind teases you with choice.
So much noise.
Tugging here and there.
You feel like you could go anywhere.
Falling into space.
You are lost in it without a trace.
You wonder if it is true that love lasts forever.
No one really knows.
But I have a feeling that it will from the look in your eyes.
