The roads stretch to the horizon
An endless path to the sun
Which one shall I walk down
And which way shall I run

The pavement burns this evening
Fire in a solid form
My feet cannot survive the journey
My legs won’t stretch that far

Which road will I choose
Will the sun burn me alive
What shall I do

The desert all around me
Seems paradise compared to this
An endless path down through hell
Where is my true bliss?

I’m left wandering
Wondering if I went the wrong way

And I can no longer see the beginning
