#1  Re: Kingdom Hearts: Remnants of the Crescent Rebellion (AKA: "KHIS") Re: Kingdom Hearts Remnants of the Crescent Rebellion Formerly known as "Kingdom Hearts Interactive Story" Darkness. Complete Darkness, as if Nothing ever Was… Yet. Engulfed in complete Nothingness, simply Existing… Or not? Suddenly, a voice, a Big Bang of sorts, bringing everything to Existence before Her eyes once again. RISE, O REMNANT- TEAR OF THE FIRST ONE... _______________________________________ Welcome to the "Remnants of the Crescent Rebellion"! This is an interactive story some of you may already be familliar with. However, the "Kingdom Hearts Interactive Story" died a natural death at a certain point, due to it losing a lot of this interactivity and the readers simply losing interest towards it. This project is an attempt to revive the story, wether it is successful depends mainly on the readers. The leader of this project is Clawsze, the man that conceived the idea of "KHIS". Other than him, only CelestialStarDust and myself remain as assisstants. We might take in one or two more assisstants, so if anybody's interested, PM one of us. The role of Clawsze and his assisstants is to write story bits, hopefully leaving a bit of interactivness at the end of that bit, i.e: "... and so the chicken stood by the road..." What should he do? A. Cross it? B. Stay where he is? C. Go along it? This is the part where the readers vote. After the voting period is over, the option with the most votes wins. The attachments I made are a redone version of the original story. In the editted version I tried to make things stick together more, as well as contain more details. So, even if you read the old story bit by bit, if you want to stick with us, it's best for you if you read the 17 chapters I attached, because some of the scenes are changed, others are gone, while some completely new ones have been added. All I can say now is have a good read, stay with us and wait for Celestial's post, since she is the one posting the next bit of our story. Also, here is the list of characters in the story so far. _______________________________________ THE PROTAGONIST & CO.  Clara Donavan - the main hero of our story. Born in the tranquil world of Aurora Valley, she is the weilder of the dark Keyblade. An encounter with a group of cloaked men seperates her from her friend, while joins with other, helping her in a quest, she doesn't know much about... Felix Townsend - one of Clara's childhood friends. A kind person, usually calm and collected, though he tends to lose his cool in situations oddly concerning Clara. Just your average student, at first glance, but there's more to him than meets the eye... Yuki Arbola - this rebellious girl seems to be a polar opposite of Felix, and yet the three of them have been best friends for all of their lives. She finds herself helpless after the events in Aurora Valley...THE JOAL DEFENDERS  Zell Dincht - one of Clara's comanions, his strength and loyalty towards his friends are matched only by his love for hot dogs... Vivi Orunitia - Clara's mage companion, quiet, and a bit clumsy, but very kind. He has extensive knowledge about the worlds, and often shares it with Clara... Terra Branford - this beautiful woman established the group, whose goal is to defend the quiet town of Joal Canyon from Heartless. An experienced fighter, she holds mysterious powers of her own... Bartz Klauser - another proud member of the Joal Defenders, often boosting his friends' spirits with his cheerful personality... Lenna Charlotte Tycoon - a childhood friend of Bartz's, she serves as the group's healer. She is of royal descent, yet she abandoned her throne for the sake of Joal and a certain person... Cid Pollendina - the goup's engineer. He can get angry easily, but his Gummi Ships are unmatched... Relm Arrowny - a bright and optimistic little girl. Her paintbrush does a lot more than let her paint beautiful pictures...  Mog - don't let his looks deceive you, since this guy is a lot more than the group's mascot. Also, he is one of the few moogles who can speak our language fluently... Though he still klings to the moogles' basic word - "Kupo!"...ORGANIZATION X  I - Prinxiel, The Gatekeeper of Reality - the leader of the recently established Organization X. His eyes obscured from the world, he seems to have different goal than the leader of the previous Organization... II - Dixos, The Frostbite of Hearts - despite his huge and solid build, Dixos' relies mainly on his uncanny intellect. There are rare occasions, though, when he relies on brute force... III - Xyptrak, The Manipulator of Noise - his words pierce the hearts of others stronger than his sword or his control over soundwaves. He leads the resistance against Prinxiel, yet there is a lot more to this Nobody, although he isn't even aware of that himself... IV - Hexra, The Master of the Illusionary - this Nobody's most confusing aspect is his personality (or rather the one he acts out), since he seems to be a push-over, and yet he is one of the Organization's fiercest fighters... V - Oryxu, The Healing Quietus - another member of the resistance, she is the Organizations main medic. Her connections with a certain Keyblade master are closer, than anyone expects... VI - Xaetes, The Steel Alchemist - though she does everything her Leader tells her to do, she seems to have other plans of her own... VII - Zaimaxu, The Squall of Soaring Blades - one of the less serious Nobodies and a member of the resistance. He doesn't say it, but he misses his past life, maybe even more than the other Nobodies... VIII - Maxs, The Sandstorm Spirit - Zaimaxu's "friend" (if Nobodies actually have friends) and the last member of the resistance. He doesn't seem to think ahead most of the time and is addicted to tequilla... IX - Yaxame, The Dexterous Dismantler - her laughter makes even the bravest shiver. Another Nobody that tends to switch moods quite often. She commands the element of water, which makes her one of the deadliest Nobodies. X - Girax, The Brutal Tactitian - the Organizations newest member, he still isn't familiar with all the rules the Organizations is giverned by, which often gets him in trouble with some higher-ranking members...THE HEARTLESS COMMITTEE An organization founded by Maleficent and another cunning character... This group seems to pose a greater threat than Maleficent's previous efforts to take over the Castle that Never Was and rid the worlds of the Keybearer Leader - Maleficent General - Kefka General - Garland Field General - Davy Jones Field General - Oogie Boogie Field General - Captain Hook Schemer - Hades Schemer - Madam Mim Transport/Planet Destroyer - Sin-Jecht Maleficent's Assistant - Versa Worker - Pete Kefka's Personal Assassin - Gilgamesh Garland's Personal Assassin - Korien Heartless Tamer - Mirielle Android Fighter - model00079RIKA Outside Assistance - Kizare IRODIA  This astonishingly beautiful woman lives in the Void Forest and seems to attract plenty of Heartless.  | Then here begins(or rather,continues) the story: **************************************** ********************************** “Hello?HELLOOOO?Bartz?I guess we lost the connection….” Zell said outloud. “Clara, where we headed?” he asked as he spun around in his chair next to a sleeping Vivi. “I don’t know, we were kind of in a rush to get out of there. I was headed for Joal Canyon, but…” Clara said, worriedly biting her lip. “But what?” Zell asked hesitantly. “The map screen keeps flashing on and off, and the fuel tank seems to be leaking. Actually, we look pretty close to crashing.” *** “We’ll need to send someone to see her in advance, preferably with a gift of some sort, she doesn’t like unexpected visitors…” Maleficent said, walking and talking with skillful speed. “How about both?” Kefka said, smirking. “You’re unusually calm about this. What do you have in mind?” Maleficent asked, suspicious. “I found a toy even she might like!” Kefka exclaimed before bursting into fits of laughter. *** “New members, huh?” Oryxu thought to herself about a day after the meeting. “It’s not like the Organization NEEDS members. Unless he has a plan that requires 9 nobodies…” She continued walking down the hallway to the infirmary, intending to check up on Zaimaxu. When she opened the door, however, she was surprised to see a guest. “Girax? What are you doing here?” The large man looked her straight in the eyes as he said, “Change of plans. Hexra’s off with Dixos on another mission. You’re my new partner.” **************************************** ********************************* Does the gummi ship... A) Crash into the unknown world below? B) Get saved by Vivi's driving experitise? C) Conveniently crash into Joal Canyon? D) do nothing because it was all just a joke? What will Maleficent do? A) Laugh at Kefka, proving that he really does rub off on people. B) Scream at him for being so stupid. C) Stare at him blankly, wondering why he still seems so interested in toys as an adult man. D) Listen to him, because she knows she can't really do much else. What next? A) Find out about Oryxu and Girax B) Find out what Dixos' and Hexra's new mission is C) Find out what Xaetes and Yaxame are up to D) Find out what Zaimaxu is dreaming about Usually,the story bits will come just one at a time.Since it wasn't agreed on of what was going to be written next however,I just threw everything in there.If you have anything else you want to add to the story,just post it here.  |

| | I'll go for A, D and B respectivelly. Anyway, we need to establish what worlds we're going to have. We already have: - a "Final Fantasy VII" world, - a "Lilo & Stitch" world. A "Pocahontas" world was planned, but I don't think we would actually be able to do anything with it... If anyone is reading this and would like to participate, feel free to vote and pick your own worlds (preferably a Disney one, FF, or other SE game worlds are acceptable, too, but I think it's better if we had more Disney worlds). |

| | I'll go with that too(ADB),seeing as you and I are probably going to be the only ones voting(yay pessimism!). And the next world possibilities that i would possibly want to do... Hunchback of Notredam Atlantis maybe a disney-pixar movie like the incredibles or something |

| | I was thinking about the Chronicles of Narnia. They did have Pirates of the Carribean and Tron in the previous game, so I guess we can include worlds from LA films as well. Your ideas sound good, so I think we can stick with them. I'll wait a little till I post the next bit, 'cause I still hope someone might join us. I'm kinda hoping more people will join once they finish reading the documents I attached. Hopefully... The thread has been viewed quite a bit. I forgot to list the original worlds! -Aurora Valley (hometown), -Joal Canyon (the "Defenders'" HQ), -Void Forest (Irodia's lair). And we also want to include some of the existing KH worlds: -The World That Never Was, -Twilight Town, -Traverse Town (?), -Radiant Garden (?). |
