| | The Tera Neja A specialized group of ninja assassins which originated in Vainglory, the Tera Neja are stealthy, dexterous, and tricky. Capable of utilizing various powers which lie outside the realm of physical ability and magical talent and even draw upon the spiritual energies which rest within the Hume being, the Tera Neja are an adversary not to be taken lightly. The Zhad A specialized group of destructive sorcerers, the Zhad are descendants of blood sorcerers who had sold their souls to obtain deadly arts which could affect them great authority in the world. Most Zhad are subject to particular destructive behavioral inclinations which are a hereditary mark of those who preceded them. The Uldra These creatures, though no more than a third taller than the average Hume, are an evolution of the drakon species from which originate such great serpents as wyrms, wyverns, the Lung, and many other elegant and terrifying reptiles. Uldra are typically unique in eye color and the color of their scales. They are randomly adorned with horns but always have two large horns protruding from the back of their necks. Exceptions occur with the species; however, these rare cases are treated with prejudice and regarded as omens. Despite this, the Uldra are the most intelligent and civilized beings in existence and carry themselves with a majestic dignity. The Czakra The Czakra are a development born of Vainglorian experiments that had begun and ceased with this one genus. The Czakra are the result of a process by which the innate magical potential in Chocobos was unnaturally and dramatically increased. With their talents brought to near limitless potential, Czakra have gained the ability to take on Hume form. However, Czakra retain certain aspects of their bird-like relatives. These can be anything from physical traits such as feathers, wings, or beaks to behavioral traits such as the way they walk, react, or even the predictable wark that is the calling card of the Chocobos as a species. The Missiles Once a sport archery team, the Missiles found themselves recruited for confrontational preparatory purposes. In a short time, this fun-loving crew was “programmed” to be distance warriors for the city of Vainglory. |
