So peaceful in this place
Such serenity in a aggressive time
As if the trees give thanks to the earth
And in return, the water flows, the sun does shine

Up above in the sky
A beautiful sight to behold
The golden eagles of grace and power soar through the air
Never to be left in the damp cold

The breese blows through the branches
Creating a refreshing sent
The sent and smile from the pine trees
With no harm caused no rules bent

And up on a nearby mountain
When you look down on this sanctuary you can tell
Every tree will be cut down
Shredded and personalised into a man made hell

The trucks and chainsaws come
Soon it is all gone
No more sent of a beautiful wind
No more eagles, no more sun that so brightly shone

Rain falls at the dead of night
As if the earth itself is crying, moarning its loss
With every drop of water filled pain
Makes the ground tremble, makes it realise what it has lost

But thats the end of it
So far as the eyes can see
Its just a barren wasteland now
No wildlife at all, just the odd high up bird or stray bee

So now in a agressive time
Lets us hope and pray
That other beautiful spots just like this
Will be protected and stay

It's really good! Appart form some grammar mistakes which I will not mention now because they're not important and everytime a poet writes something it doesn't give a damn about grammar mistakes!
I think it's a perfect poem
