Dark Water

In a cold
Dark, blackened night
I walk along the shoreline
As the bright moon glows
And shines its light upon the ocean
Illuminating the crystalline waters
Whisks me away to heavenly solitude

As my eyes slowly shut
The lashes calmly touch the lids
And all i see is darkness
I feel a shifting in my kneecaps
And a chuckle
I think the ocean is talking to me

And i awaken from my trance
Wondering, and wishing
That i may see that peace again
