Adamus now headed back toward the mountain outside of the Angelic City of St. Peter to confront the Gods once more. But this time, this time Adamus has actions a lot different in mind then he would normal greet the Gods. As Adamus walked up the steps of the mountain toward the mountain summit at the top where the Gods awaited, a strange feeling within the pit of his stomuch arose. Adamus was gravely nervous. Adamus stopped in his own tracks as he realized how uncomfortable he was disobeying the beings he respected and admired. But Adamus had enough sense to know right from wrong for his father taught him that lesson well. Going through with the assignment he was given was simply wrong. And no matter how uncomfortable he was disobeying the Gods, he knew he had no choice but to make himself go through with this. So, Adamus steeled himself once more and proceed to the mountain summit. Finally, Adamus reached the summit to find the Gods in their statue form. He walked into the circle form by the Gods' and bowed. The Gods' came to life and looked upon Adamus with curious facial expression giving away their lack of knowledge towards Adamus presence. Enima, Adamus' Father and King of the Gods, asked Adamus why was he not on the world of mortals now. The Gods looked upon Adamus as he stared at the ground hesitant. But Adamus looked Enima in the eyes and told him that he could not complete his quest. Enima glared at Adamus with a disappointed facial expression and asked Adamus what was the cause of his new profound views of his assignment. Adamus suggested morality. Bringing death to the innocence is not Godly and therefore he will not take the life of the human woman Eva. Enima laugh at his son's opinion for he though it was the most thoughtless idea he has ever heard, which disappointed him further. Enima replied that Adamus shouldn't make assumptions about Godhood for Adamus was in no position to do so. Enima then begins to explain that everything that experience life will inevitably experience death. No matter how innocent or guilty, death awaits all living things. And as Gods we have a responsibly to guide all spirits from life to death and to the afterlife. But Enima knew Adamus already knew that very well which encouraged his curiosity further. Enima confronted Adamus and wanted to know the true reason he chose not to accomplish his task. Adamus begin to explained but nervously stopped at a single word. Adamus knew he couldn't hide his feelings from the Gods no further for he expected them to read his mind and exposed the truth. As expected by Adamus, Enima and the other Gods' read Adamus' mind to find that Adamus was truely in love with the human woman Enima. Adamus looks toward Enima as he smiled towards him with no hostility. Enima said to Adamus that love mattered not if it interfered with divinity. Adamus balled his fist in shock as Enima explained that the love he harbored for Eva shouldn't stop him for taking her life for divinity comes with sacrifice. Adamus shouted disagreeing with the views of his father. The Gods grew disturbed by Adamus' sudden outburst. Adamus then asked them if there was any other way to become a God and spar the life of the person he loved. Enima replied that this assignment is the only way. Adamus took a step back as he stared at his father shaking his head in disapproval. Enima grew angry at Adamus and asked Adamus to chose. The choice was to either become a God and rule beside his family, or abandon divinity. Adamus, once again hung his head in though as the Gods' awaited he's answer. Adamus raised his head and looked Enima into his eyes and chose to abandon divinity. Little did Adamus know, that the choice he made was graver than he though.
