#1 I have an idea that if I can get enough info, I will submit to Square-Enix. I have some info of the idea in my signiture. Here is some info not included in my sig..... I am planning to use most of the characters from ff5-10, and I will use the player-invented characters that yall on the site have created. |

| | I'd like to just say this real quick, f you want anyone from Square to even read what your going to put together you're going to need to put a lot of effort into this, probably more effort then you've done in anything else before, and your going to need experience, and probably set up a meeting with a square employee. Next... Perhaps you can give us a more detailed post on what you've actually done so far (if anything)? Your sig says that you need help with plot, how are we suppose to do that when you've given us nothing to work with? You also say that you want help deciding making characters and weapons and such, have you started ANYTHING with working on that? Also why only V-X? II, III, IV, and XII all had fan favorite characters. Lastly your sig also mentions materia, that idea should be scraped immediately. If you put materia in your game it will just look like some fanboy of FFVII submitting more FFVII copy garbage. You need an original magic system, and leveling up system, that has to be well thoughout. |

| | Thank you. I have put thought into it, there will not be any materia in it, also the magic system will consist in several classes from all FF games. It will conclude original character AND Fan characters from all FF games. The wepons will be fan-made and original, including ALL the wepons that were made in All of the FF games. There will be a wepons combining system that the teams will recieve, that can mix wepons to create other wepons. It can only mix 1 characters wepons at a time. For example: 1 Cloud wepon + 1 Leon Wepon = Nothing because they cant mix. But, 1 cloud wepon + 1 cloud wepon = A new wepon because. |

| | The whole thing doesn't look organized well enough, you haven't even put forward a background story, and colliding a whole group of Final Fantasy characters sounds chaotic, if it's for no good reason. Realistically speaking, I seriously doubt Square would have anytime to look at such a baseless idea, they have other developments in mind, and it would be extremely unlikely for a fourteen year old to pull off such a thing. |

| | I agree, and even if you put lots of work into this, for say...5 years, they won't listen to you. a. Too young. b. They don't know you. c. You have to make the entire game plan, EVERYTHING, on paper, printed, or a computer file, that will be thousands of pages, for many worlds due to the fact between 5-10 there are 6 worlds. But if you do somehow pull it of, you could land yourself in a lot of money, and a great start to a job. |

| | Everyone loves the idea of making a final fantasy. But they end up doing it like a fan instead of a worker. Firsy off. Combining characters from old games is not the FF way. Every world is new and different. They do this for a reason because if they don't then fans will argue that the characters could have doone more or should be stronger. That's why they make new characters. Second if you say theres a new magic system can you describe what it's like. Creating a game story is fairly simple. Whats the problem how can we solve it and what started the problem. Once you figure out those you have the big picture thats when you will need to go into detail on the story from there. Creating a world isn't as easy as making a planet name and races. There's also creating landforms and throwing fiends in random places is horrible. For the truly capable, creating monsters that suit the environment and going from why they would be their to how they survive. Theres a lot of other things you're missing so yah get to work but don't forget to live life while you can. |
