#1  The Divine Rapist a.k.a EPIC ANIME Act 1: A Meeting with the Claymore It was a fine day. Luckily the sun shone because it was raining cats and chaos the day before and it was hard as hell to get rid of the infernal debris. Birds chirped and the breeze was refreshing as a girl in her late teens with long, luscious blue hair got out of her bed. She rinsed and washed, put on her kimono and tied a red ribbon on her hair. She then proceeded to take up her katana and waved it around a little. “Another nice day, another day to pursuit my love for Sange,” she said in a tone like she was going to melt if she ever saw the person she calls Sange.  This girl’s name, is called Sakurako Yasha, or prefers to be called Yasha only. She is a samurai and lives in the peaceful town of Yakushiji. Although it rains cats and chaos occasionally, it won’t bring much harm to the townsfolk. This person is a tall person with blue eyes along with blue hair tied to a ponytail at the back, wears a blue wafuku and carries a katana on his sash. “I have a bad feeling today…” he said. This person’s name is none other than the person whom Yasha mentioned earlier, Sange.  PORTFOLIO: NAME: Shigami Sange (四神参華) AGE: 19 DATE OF BIRTH: 16th JULY PLACE OF BIRTH: Yakushiji SKILLS: Suzaku (朱雀), Byakko (白虎), Genbu (玄武), Seiryu (青龍), Konjiki no Kamikaze (金色の神風) FAVORITE FOOD: Curry Ramen LEAST FAVORITE FOOD: Eggs Sange finished slurping his remaining ramen in one go and went outside his house and jumped. In front of him, was a girl with short blonde hair and white armor, sprawled unconscious on the ground. Fearing that someone might notice him and start rumors, he quickly carried her inside his house and tried to wake her up. After a while, she started to regain consciousness and a loud growling sound was heard. “I’m hungry…” she said. Sange quickly prepared some ramen for her to eat. Much to Sange’s confusion, the girl was wearing armor and had silver eyes instead of normal brown ones that most people here have. After a while, she put down her tenth helping of ramen, Sange started questioning her. “Who are you and what is your business here?” he asked. The girl stood up, drew her huge sword, flung it aside and answered. “My name is Claire Claymore, former leader of the Claymore Knights, bearer of the last claymore, last of the Claymore Knights, sole survivor of Claymore Knights’ massacre in the headquarters of the Claymore Hand. We are called the Claymore Knights because we use huge claymore swords as weapons, and I, Claire Claymore, am on a quest to seek revenge on the Claymore Knights of the Claymore Hand, who were killed during the massacre of the Claymore Knights in the headquarters of the Claymore Hand, and I shall make sure that the killer of the Claymore Knights of the Claymore Hand during the massacre of the Claymore Knights in the headquarters of the Claymore Hand suffer the wrath of my claymore blade as my claymore thrusts his heart to seek revenge for the Claymore Knights of the Claymore Hand, who were massacred in the headquarters of the Claymore Hand,” she said.  PORTFOLIO: NAME: Claire Claymore AGE: around 18 DATE OF BIRTH: top secret PLACE OF BIRTH: Clamora, city of Claymores SKILLS: Claymore Thrust, Shining Armor, True Sight, Silver Aurora FAVORITE FOOD: Ramen (for now) LEAST FAVORITE FOOD: none Sange stared at her. “I heard nothing but you repeating the word ‘claymore’ over and over, and mind if you speak more slowly,” he said. “Okay, in a nutshell…” she started. Suddenly, someone stormed in and said “おはよう ございます (Ohayou gozaimasu), Sange!” to Sange. It was Yasha. When Yasha saw Claire, she stared at her. She reached for her sword when Sange stopped her and asked Claire to tell her tale. After hearing what Sange heard earlier, Yasha stared at her. “All I heard was claymore, all the claymore, and nothing but the claymore,” she said with a blank face. “In a nutshell, I am seeking revenge for my comrades, and on another quest which involves finding two people,” she said. “Two people?” asked Sange. “Yes. They are the ‘Demon Edge’ and the ‘Sacred Relic’, which are essential to complete another Divine Rapier,” said Claire. “Why?” asked Yasha. “ The Claymore Hand are knights trained to protect the queendom of Clamora. The killer massacred all the members of the Claymore Hand, and abducted our queen, Queen Saber Arthurina. Queen Saber is the wielder of the current existing Divine Rapier, who though only aged 17, had the body of a 20 year old, but the mentality of a 10 year old, and fights for the sake of protecting her country which she was taught since little,” said Claire. “Any idea who the killer might be? Maybe we can help one way or another,” said Sange. “Thanks. The person I seek is known throughout the region as the ‘Divine Rapist’, because it was found that all the dead female members of the Claymore Hand were raped upon death,” said Claire. “Looks? Skills?” asked Yasha. “Unfortunately none,” said Claire, heaving a sigh. “I need to seek revenge for my comrades, but at the same time, I need to complete the Divine Rapier to fight against the stolen Divine Rapier. I believe that the Divine Rapist might have got Queen Saber into doing his dirty work, and with the Queen’s mentality, I think she will do it,” said Claire. The sky outside suddenly turned red. Claire stood up. “What was that?” she asked frightfully. “Oh, it’s just another rain of chaos, come on, Yasha, let’s go help get rid of them,” said Sange. Claire followed them out. She had a feeling that this was no normal rain of chaos. She pulled out her claymore, just in case. Sange and Yasha pulled out their katanas to slice the infernal debris. However, this time the infernals didn’t dissipate after a while without being cut, they continued to live and started destroying the town of Yakushiji. Sange and Yasha didn’t know what to do. “It’s bound to be his doing. The Divine Rapist has powers so vast he can even control the weather,” said Claire. “Stand aside. I will deal with them,” she said confidently. Clutching her claymore tight, she leapt into the air and sliced an infernal into half without much trouble. She then proceeded to slash more infernals. She got so excited of slicing infernals in front of her, she didn’t notice one coming from her back. Sange and Yasha quickly leapt into the air. Sange held his katana in the vertical stance and Yasha held hers in a horizontal stance. When Claire noticed the infernal behind her, the infernal had already raised its massive fist, ready to make a ‘Claymore Squishie’ out of her. “Soujin (双人)…” they said. “JUJIZAN (十字斬)!!” They yelled and as Sange sent his blade hacking down the body of the infernal, Yasha sent hers slicing through the waist of the infernal, dissecting it into four pieces of burning rubble. After a while, the infernals were destroyed, and the rain stopped. However, only few survived the catastrophe. Yakushiji was completely incinerated by them. “Thanks for helping,” said Claire. “No need. And one more thing,” said Sange. “We are following you,” said Yasha. “What? Why?” asked Claire, shocked by the sudden request for a party. “If that Divine Rapist you mentioned can do that, we think that you alone won’t accomplish it easily. Besides, you could use some companions,” said Yasha. “Thanks… a lot… “ Thanked Claire, her heart full of warmth from being able to have comrades to fight by her side again after that disastrous incident. |

 | It's a nice story but it's not as descriptive as it needs to be. For example "another rain of Chaos" is it something that's common? Or has it been happening recently. If most of the villagers died how many infernals were there. What is an infernal? What does it look like? Are the characters bigger than it? Things like that. |

However, it is unfortunate to inform you readers that the Rapist won't even be mentioned until chapter 21  Anyways here's chapter 2.Act 2: Discovery It’s raining heavily in the town of Sparda. All the shops are closed except one. The shop’s name is ‘Devil May Sing’. Inside the shop, in the center of the hall, sat a person. His legs were resting on the table. A huge sword, about twice the size of Claire’s claymore, stood behind him.  The phone ringed. “Yo, this is ‘Devil May Sing’, how may I help you?” he asked. “This is Gilgie; I need your help down here at the mines. The demons won’t let us in and none of our guys know how to get rid of them,” said the voice in the phone. “How much?” asked the guy. “Five thousand, case closed, Dante,” the voice in the phone said firmly. “Fair enough,” said Dante. He put down the phone and took up his sword. With his size, he had incredible strength to lift such a huge sword. “Time to go kick some demon butt,” he said.  Meanwhile, we see Claire having her fifth bowl of miso ramen at a restaurant in the town of Tohsaka (远坂), a town south of Yakushiji. “Well, Claire, do you know about the person who holds the Demon Edge?” asked Sange. “From the information I gathered, the person’s name is Dante Demonedge, who runs a mercenary shop in the town of Sparda, which is located about twenty miles south of Tohsaka town. If we could get this Dante person to join us or give us the Demon Edge, it would be a huge improvement in my quest,” said Claire. “Just a quick question; why do you need an item called the ‘Demon Edge’ to forge an item called the ‘Divine Rapier’? If it is ‘divine’, there shouldn’t be anything evil about it, right?” asked Yasha. “It is only called the ‘Divine Rapier’ because it’s gold in color. It needs the hardness of the Demon Edge to make the Divine Rapier near indestructible by hardening it with the demon’s forbidden hardening magic cast on the Demon Edge; the Sacred Relic is to further coat the blade with extra hardness and make it sharper and shinier. And to make the blade, only one kind of sword can sustain the combined weight of the Demon Edge and the Sacred Relic; namely the Claymore,” said Claire. “So the Demon Edge and the Sacred Relic are extremely heavy objects?” asked Sange. “Indeed. However, there is a glitch. Though it may sound like the Divine Rapier is extremely heavy by explaining, it is actually incredibly light when it is made. That is why our queen was able to wield it, because it is light,” said Claire. “You use heavy objects to harden and sharpen a sword, and then instead of it becoming heavier, it becomes lighter instead?” asked Sange. “In a nutshell, yes,” said Claire. Sange was speechless. After eating, they packed up their belongings and hurried south. They walked for about three hours and it began to rain. They quickly hurried to an inn located there. The innkeeper served them some free tea and asked if they were trying to get pass the Raigeki Plains (雷击平原). “Yes. We are heading for the town of Sparda,” said Claire. “Well, not that I am stopping you or anything, but it’s best that you turn back or find an alternative route,” said the innkeeper. “We can’t. Sparda is located on Mount Shomyo (众妙山), which is only accessible by passing through the Raigeki Plains,” said Claire. “Why won’t you encourage us to pass the plains?” asked Sange. “You don’t know about the things here?” asked the innkeeper. “Well, guess it wouldn’t hurt to tell. How long do you predict that this rain has fallen?” asked the innkeeper. “Hmm… three hours?” said Yasha. “No…” he raised a hand and opened it. “Five years… this rain has never stopped for five straight years,” he said grimly. “Five years?” Yasha asked shockingly. “How could rain fall for five straight years? It’s impossible!” Claire exclaimed. “Ah, but there is a certain person that possesses the power to do such a feat. He calls himself the ‘Maelstrom’, and he is responsible for creating this rain,” said the innkeeper. “Well, looks like there is something we need to do,” said Claire. “What?” asked the innkeeper. “We can get that Maelstrom guy to tell us how to stop the rain if we can defeat him right?” asked Claire. “Yes, but…” said the innkeeper. “No point stopping her. She is a Claymore Knight, she knows her duty,” said Sange calmly. “Claymore Knight? I thought all of them were killed during the massacre at Clamora…” said the innkeeper. “I managed to survive,” said Claire. “How?” asked the shocked innkeeper. “I was on vacation,” she said. The wind blew strongly and sent chills down Sange and the innkeeper’s spine due to the bad joke answer that Claire gave. Meanwhile, back in the mines of Mount Shomyo. A person yanked an object in the form of a sword from the ground. It was shimmering gold and shines together with the person’s golden armor. He lifted it up high.  “YES! I HAVE FOUND IT! THE SACRED RELIC IS MINE AT LAST! GAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!” The voice in Dante’s phone earlier laughed in glee. “With this Sacred Relic, I can now finally go on to the second phase of my grand project! HAHAHAH!!” He burst out laughing again. “Talk about getting overexcited,” said Dante, who was standing not far away from the scene. |
