I'm currently working on a collaboration project with a good
friend of mine, Jon McConnell. Jon is an artist at Blizzard
Entertainment, the company responsible for the ultra-popular
World of Warcraft videogame.

We're creating a small illustrated book of a few pages in the
form of a children's read-along book. Basically, full-page
illustrations with a few lines of text for each page as
narration. The idea is that all of this narration will consist of
small poems instead of simple passages.

This is the first poem I've written for the book. The art for the
page is being worked on now, I will be sure to post that in
this thread when it is available as well, along with new
poems as I finish them.

Asphodel twirls cherry stems,
tracing tummy pigmentations
through tourmalines and tain.

All agaze in cordial blush,
tonguing cherry skins;
their juices seeping.

That sounds like a fantastic project. I'm really happy to read a new poem from you as well, this one is great as usual. You have a gift with poetry to make a poem have like, a literal taste or smell or feel to it. I dunno if that makes sense though.
