Default Dawn and Dusk [S]

Chapter One: Days End
Why does this day have to end? Aaron asked himself as he watched the sun set.
There's an aura about today, kind of like, evil. But, then again, maybe not.
"Aaron!" Aaron heard his mom call.
"Ma'am?"
"Aaron... Aaron!"

The voice changed, almost like it was unhuman.

Aaron was about to turn around when he felt a hand grasp his shoulder.

"Well, well, Mr. Fenix." Aaron heard an unfamiliar voice, like a bucket of ice. He started shivering.
"We looked for you everywhere." the unknown voice whispered.
"And everywhere we found you."
"What're you going to do?" Aaron shouted in panic.
"You'll find out, during the twilight of the Summer Soltice."
"'Summer Soltice'?"

But the image was already flickering, and Aaron relized for the first time, that his surroundings were gray. But, they started to slowly grow back in color.

Then, like nothing has ever happened, time resumed, birds sang, and the sun went from twilight, to early night.

Aaron stood there. Thinking.

"The Summer Soltice?" Was he kidding? Unfortunally, he'd have to wait until June 21 for the answer.

I got chapter two up.

Chapter Two: The Summer Soltice

June 21, at last. Aaron thought, as twilight hit. It's been three months.

"Mr. Fenix, what a wonderful surprise!" the icy voice said again. "Did you bring any weapons?"

Aaron shook his head. "No, erm..."

"Ma'am."
"No, ma'am."
"I'm pretty sure that you might like this experience."
"Experience?"
"To learn the difference in dawn and dusk, my friend!"
"Friend?"
"Yes, friend, you might remember my face."

The woman lifted her hood, she had raven black hair, with two amethest earrings one on each ear, a dragon pendent hanging from a necklace.

That necklace looks like mine! And, I remember this face from somewhere... Aaron thought.

"Yes, friend, this is a similar necklace to your own." the woman said.
"But, why is your voice so... icy?" Aaron asked.

The woman looked towards the sky and pointed towards her neck, there was a scar there.

"Battle from a long time ago," she explained, "but, that's not the point. The point is, that our world, is coming to an end, as we know it."

"How?" Aaron asked.

"Well, how should I explain this? Umm... imagine a meteor is coming to destroy the world, and if it was big enough, what happens?"
"Destruction?"
"Yes! Obliteration will fall upon the world, not by a meteor, but by something far worse, I'm afraid."
"Worse?"
"Sorry, but I got to go help in our world. If you want to help, you can, but there might be problems."
"Problems?"

But the woman was gone. And all Aaron had to do was say "yes" or "no" to the help request.

Aaron didn't know what to do.

Unknown to Aaron, a girl was spying on him in the trees. She smirked as she remembered Opal's words, "Watch the boy," she had said, "he may be of some importance."

Importance? Maybe, but you never know.

Chapter Three: The Answer

How do I answer the question, though? Aaron thought.

As if listening to him, a weird looking dragon-like thing landed at his foot.

A note attached to it said "Dragon Mail".

On the back, the note read: Tell the dragon all your answers and notes, he'll give them to the person you seek.

Aaron thought for a moment, Should I, or maybe it's too dangerous. He thought.

"Brave, aren't you?" A voice asked, ancient, like it said every word in the world, and more.

"Who- who are you?" Aaron asked.
"Why, a lad like you still didn't figure it out?" the dragon said.

Aaron winced, as if struck by lightning.

"No need to be worried, lad! I don't bite!" the dragon said.
"Wow, weird things been happening to me."
"Of course, lad!"
"But, why?"
"You're related to the King of the land of Yesmar."
"Yesmar?"
"Aye, Yesmar," the dragon looked sad at the mere thought of the word, "anyway, what's your answer?"

Aaron couldn't believe it, he was the heir of a land never seen by him?

Aaron responded, "Yes..."
