Narrator: "Even though I knew very little about my situation, I kept my head held high. And never looked back. Maybe if I've glanced back just once, I could have seen the demon in my shadow..."

Chapter II Verse I part 1: Results of training

(A day later, Sander stands in an open field outside of Ruin City of the Seraphs along with Articus.)

Sander: "So, where's the others?"

Articus: "Their helping the civilians in the Seraph City. But They are of little concern for now. Now, we need to begin your training.)

Sander: "Ok. What's first?"

Articus: "First, we focus on controlling your new powers."

Sander: "What new powers?! I feel the same as I've ever been-"

(Suddenly, Articus punches Sander in the face and Sander grabs his face in pain.)

Sander: "Dammit!!! What was that for!?!?!?!?!?

Articus: "I put extra power in that punch. If you were still human, you would be dead. Cool huh?"

Sander: "Whatever you twisted bastard..."

Articus: "Ok, let's started-"

Voice: "Articus!!!"

(Articus and Sander turns towards the voice to find Loralei as she run toward them with a concerned facial expression.)

Loralei: "Articus, we have a big problem out on the earth!"

Sander: "What?! What about my home!?!?"

Chapter II Verse I part 2: Articus' Decision

(Loralei walks closer to Articus with a serious facial expression.)

Loralei: "Articus, Syn isn't doing what we though he would do."

Articus: "Then what is he planing?"

Loralei: "You have to see for yourself. Come on."

(Loralei looks towards Sander with the same serious facial expression.)

Loralei: "You come too."

Sander: "You damn right I'm coming with you guys! Let's go!"

(Sander follows Loralei and Articus as they all runs towards a large crystal castle in the middle of the Ruined City of Seraph. The tree of them runs into the castle into a large throne room and stops to find Brian, Kojack, Opera, Tacia, Sea, and Quan standing around the throne watching the Large mirror that stand behind the throne. Sander, Articus and Loralei walks up to the others and looks at the mirror.)

Sander: "What going on?"

(Sander finds the strange creatures the evaded his world capturing humans and putting them into prison cells. Syn floats above in the skies and watches what goes on below with a smile on his face.)

Articus: "He's capturing them. What is the meaning of this?"

(Sander balls his fist as tightly as he can with a mad facial expression as he looks at the mirror showing Syn smiling.)

Sander: "Dammit! That bastard thinks this is funny!"

Loralei: "Sander, calm down. You can't do much against him yet so-"

Sander: "You know what, your right. I can't do anything about this but you guys can!"

(Everyone looks towards Sander.)

Sander: "Why are you guys just standing here and letting this go on?! Why those it have to be me to stop this guys!!! I'm sure you guys can take him together!"

Loralei: "Haven't you been listening to us! He holds the power of over king! Fighting him will be-"

Articus: "Loralei..."

(Everyone then turns their attention to Articus.)

Articus: "The only way to convince this human of the force we're up against is to show him first hand."

Loralei: "What are you saying?"

Articus: "I'll fight Syn."

Quan: "What?!"

Kojack: "Articus! No! That's suicide!"

Articus: "It maybe. But if it is necessary to the survival of both our race and the human race, than I will gladly fight."

(Articus looks at Sander and Sander stares back with a determined facial expression.)

Articus: "Sander, you promise me to continue your training and become the person that will save us all."

Sander: "...If you die, I'll give my existence to your cause..."

Articus: "...So be it."

(Articus begins to walk away from Sander and the others but Loralei runs up to Articus from behind and hugs him stopping him from moving.)

Loralei: "Articus no!!! I-I don't want you to go!!!"

(Articus turns towards Loralei with a smile on his face to find Loralei crying. Articus wipes away Loralei's tears and looks her in the eyes.)

Articus: "Loralei, we are pillars of honor and freedom. Find one of us must leave to set an example for others. Then so be it. I will be the one to spark the light that will carry us safely through the darkness. So be happy. And don't cry. Ok?"

Loralei: "...But...I..."

(Articus holds Loralei closer to him and kisses her. After a few seconds, Articus let's Loralei go and creates a portal to Earth.)

Articus: "I'll see you later."

Loralei: "..."

(Articus walks into the portal as everyone watches him off.)

Narrator: "At that time, I wasn't aware of what I've done. I wasn't aware of the people I hurt. The only thing that mattered to me was stop Syn at any means nessacary. How naive of me..."

Narrator: The next event, is what I consider the beginning. This is the beginning of everything. The deception, the guilt, the anger. And all of this caused by one person. But is the person really Syn? Are is it me?

Chapter II Verse II: Resistance

(Everyone quickly turns to large mirror showing the events unfolding on earth. Syn floats above the surface below as humans are being escorted to cells by his soldiers. Suddenly, everyone watches as a portal appears behind Syn. Articus emerges from the portal with a determined facial expression.)

Syn: "...Articus, it's been a while."

(Syn turns towards Articus with a grin on his face.)

Articus: "I see your as vigilant as ever."

Syn: "I assume you didn't come here to talk."

Articus: "You assume correctly." *being Sarcastic with a large grin* "I really came here to tell you keep up the good work!"

(Sander and the others watches with their jaws touching the ground.)

Sander: "Dammit!!! He's never serious!!!"

Syn: "I see you never change. Even staring into the eyes of death."

Articus: "But seriously, I'm here to put an end to all of this by defeating you. Are at least try..."

Syn: "At least try eh? Well, at least you know what to expect."

(Syn summon a black spear which has a blood stained blade.)

Syn: "Let's get this started. I was getting bored anyway..."

(Articus facial expression quickly turns to a serious expression and he summon a white spear with the blade glowing a bright white. Articus points his spear towards Syn and Syn prepares himself by going into a defensive position.)

Articus: "...NO MERCY!!!"

(Articus charges toward Syn at full speed and swings his spear toward Syn in a horizontal motion. Syn easily blocks the attack with his spear a counters with a vertical slash. Articus quickly jumps back and evades Syn's attack. Suddenly, the blood on the blade of Syn's spear begin to glow a dark black and Syn swings his spear releasing a blast of energy toward Articus. Articus easily evades the attack but the attack travel towards the ground at full speed heading towards a group of human civilians. Sander's face quickly turns to a desperate facial expression as they continue to watch the fight.)

Sander: "Oh no!!!!"

(The energy attack slams into the group of people causing a massive explosion a killing them. Articus looks back with a shocked facial expression.)

Articus: "(Dammit!!!)"

(Syn floats with a sinister grin.)

Syn: "Oops..."

(Sander balls his fist with a furious facial expression.)

Sander: "That...That son of a bitch!!!"

(Articus looks back at Syn with a tinned grip on his spear and a determined facial expression.)

Articus: "I'm going to make sure you pay for every single human life you taken!!!"

Syn: "Please. Don't make promises you can't keep."

Articus: "We'll see about that!!!!"

(Articus charges at Syn once again and attacks him with a string of very fast paced thrust with his spear. Syn goes on the defensive by continuous evading Articus' attacks.)

Articus: *Still attacking* "STOP RUNNING FROM ME AND FIGHT!!!!"

Syn: *Evading* "Why are you throwing your life away Articus? You know fighting me is meaningless..."

Articus: *Still attacking* "SHUT UP!!!"

(Articus thrust his spear towards Syn once again but Syn evades the attack and counters by striking Articus in the chest with the blunt end of his spear. Articus jumps back holding his chest and breathing heavily. Brian watches the match with a suspicious facial expression.)

Brian: "What's going on here? Why isn't Articus fighting the way he normally fights?

(Tacia turn her attention to Brian.)

Tacia: "Yeah, I noticed that to..."

Brian: "Maybe his anger is throwing him off..."

(Loralei balls her fist with a concerned facial expression as she continue to watch the fight between Syn and Articus.)

Loralei: "(Articus, please make it out of this somehow...)"

Narrator: "We were paying attention. But we didn't see the photo the the picture hold. Are maybe it was just me. I wanted to see what this Syn guys was really capable of. And unluckily for me, I got that wish..."
