Name?

I'm searching, but I can't seem to find it
The one thing that holds me back, the one reason why I lose track

I'll never know why, and I'm tired of feeling sorry for myself
I need to stand up, and quit holding back
I'm tired of changing, and maybe soon I won't go back
And keeping me might not be as easy as you thought

I'm tired of living in my past, and life is flying by
Don't blame me for being scared, just because you never cared
I just don't want to face the truth, the truth that I must face
The truth of growing old, the truth that things won't always be gold
The truth that our stories have already been told
The truth is I'm not the same, and it's too late

Something I wrote, when I was feeling? Hmm, well you can imagine how I was feeling. But yeah, my thoughts on it are that I think it sounds totally amateur and dramatically depressing, but what can I say? Most of my writing is. I like it, yet I don't. I'd like to know what some one else other than myself has to say about it. Maybe I'm too tough on myself? I don't know. Someone reply! :P
