#1  Tales from the Hunt, an FFXII Challenge Challenge: Write the tale behind any hunt on FFXII. Some hunts have very poignant tales associated with them such as "The Ring of the Toad" and the "Diabolos" hunt. Some hunts have humorous stories such as the "Carrot" story. But you can pick any hunt that strikes your fancy. At least one page (4 paragraphs). Post it here in this thread. This challenge will be open until April 5th so you don't have to pick your first hunt (Rogue Tomato) which is a lame story anyway. Good Luck! Wee. someone is interested on the challenge! You need to pick one hunt, and write the story behind it. Like if you pick the Thextera hunt you could write a few paragraphs on the adventures of a caravan crossing the Estersand and being attacked by it, because that is the story the hunt petitioner tells you when you get the hunt  |

 | The Rogue Tomato Hunt This nasty bestie is causing lots of trouble in the Estersands of Dalmasca.Altough small in size it seems to be pretty viscious and sneaky.It appears on sunny days to attack unnawary travelers like myself.The reason i am posting the bill is because this beast somehow managed to take my license board from me which whithout i can't fight.For further information and formalizing of the contract meet me at the Rabanastre Plaza Past Passado Like you said the Rogue Tomato story is lame  |

 | The Treachourous Hunt For Ixtab Many decades ago, a few Garif Elders had wondered into the depths of the Henne Mines. They were deeply aroused by what sort of magicite was honed in this Mine, but their excitement was short lived-once they were over-numbered and ambushed by a rampage of fiends. The few Garif who ventured into the Mines were killed, but their malevolent spirits were still at unrest and continued to haunt the Mines. On byers who decided to investigate Henne Mines were now driven out, and left petrified by the 'Ghost' they called Ixtab who stalked the Mines, and the news had soon spread to the village of Jahara-that their long dead ancestors were still at large, but joined as an evil spirit. They could not muster the strength to vanquish the former Garif, but resort to the last hope of posting a bill to any bounty hunter out there! Then they came...The inferior humes had claimed this hunt, and shocked the High Chief with their arrival. Once they embarked to the hunt of Ixtab, they found and drove away the spirit-it was at last put to rest. The Garif were grateful and felt in huge debt to the warriors, as they had put everyone's heart to ease... R.I.P. Ixtab |
