It's not bad. Doesn't really strike me as something taht would be in a video game. Don't really like rap, though it's definately better than most rap I've heard.

I want to compose music as well for movies and video games since I want to do everything music wise.. but I'm pretty sure your route isn't the way to go.

If you have the basic concepts of writing actual sheet music, I recomend getting NoteWorthy composer. Sure it's a midi maker but it has the same synth as most SNES games and such. I do think that the Nightmare song has a good video game esque beat, until the drums come in with the whole rap thing, then it kind of looses it's potential.

I did this one in NoteWorthy, I posted it in my EoY a long time ago but I've tweaked it now for a better sound and the idea's of different video game genre sounds, since that was the purpose of this composition hence all the railroad tracks (Grand Pauses) in between the different sounds.
