After you accept the hunt, Paramina will again be in blizzard.
From your location, Freezing Gorge, go to Head of the Silverflow --> Icebound Flow --> Karydine Glacier --> Silverflow's End.

But, wherever you are, if you can't get favorable weather conditions, just keep exiting and re-entering.

In the case of Fafnir, i dont think this works. I believe you have to go a certain route.Originally Posted by farplaner

I don't remember reading anything about having to go a 'certain' route through Paramina. I entered with a blizzard going on, then for some reason it stopped so I exited into the Feywood. It came back the first time I entered and he was there....

Going the path described above worked for me. If you go that route and the blizzard is going on, it will stay the entire route. I just finished this fight today and was having similiar issues of getting the right conditions. Btw, be prepared. Fafnir is a pain. He seemed like he was immune to all harmful status effects and he has a ton of hp.
