    Thumbs up New hardware pics of the Wii! (too many images for 56k)

    Found some nice pics of the Wii hardware for anyone interested, also including unseen angles, close up of the sensor bar, the back of the console, and the inside to that 'battery case' on the WiiMote.

    Ah confirmed, the Classic controller plugs into the WiiMote.


    Most images of this 'Zapper' are from the side, and we rarely see the top angle.


    Back of the Wii, the orange port is for the sensor bar, if you sharpen the pic you can read the writting above it as proof.


    Its unknown if this is the final model, but that looks like a 2AA slot to me... course it could still be for one of those weird 'bagged together' chargable packs. lol


    And last, a decent size comparison for the sensor bar.

    Since the Wii will play gamecube game discs will the Wii have little mini discs for games too or will it have discs the size of CDs/DVDs?

    I can't wait to play with it!!! I can't wait to play with my wii... wait... I can't seem to put it in a correct sentance that doesn't sound odd... I like playing with my wii... FORGET IT!!!

    But it also plays nintendo64 and older games...

    I cant see the pics either. But I have seen what it looks like due to trailers and it does look like a little beauty and is on my Must Have Now or Everyone Dies list.

    Wii games will be of normal size, but its disc slot is capable of accepting GameCube-sized discs, as well.
