Well most of the currently easy to get versions are DVD and the latest expansion is DVD only. However, these days most computers have a DVD-ROM and if your doesn't it's not a bad investment as more and more things are moving to DVD.Originally Posted by fatman12342

Ok I under stand the $12.99 part cause ever mmorpg cost fee but what I dont see is why should we need to pay $1.00 for every char we make what other game dose that its just a dumb way for them to make money we should not have to pay $1.00x how ever many char we got we should just have to pay $12.99
and you cant say all mmorpgs cost money to play cause look at guild wars thats a huge game and its free

1. Guild Wars is built completely different to MMORPG's.
2. There's no use in complaining, this is how it's been for four or so years, so get over it. The whole "this price is ridiculous" fad is old now.

the 1.00 extra im glad to pay since the money goes to the developers one one of my favorite game franchise. which means they can make better games!!
but its dumb please name 1 game where you got to pay $1.00+ 12.99 look at wow,coh,cov,everquest,dnd,planetside,matrixonline and im sure theres much more this game is only one where you got to pay for you chars im willing to pay 12.99 a month but not if i got to pay $1 more for ever char I have thats just a dumb way to make money hell what if i want like 10char im not paying $23.00 a month there is no smurfing way im paying that
You would never need to create 10 characters.
You can actually change jobs at will on one character. You can level all jobs to 75 on one character. So get over it, people used to complain 4 years ago, and now it's old. -_-;
