Favorite comedian that is currently alive would be Jim Gaffigan though. I saw him live once. Hilarious.

I’m not into stand-up comedy so much anymore. The only comedian I can bother staying up to watch is Jim Gaffigan. I really like Pale Force, too.
If you mean just outside of stand-up comedy, and you would say Conan O’Brien is a comedian, then Conan O’Brien is my favorite comedian.

Bill Hicks was a genius. Also Bill Bailey, Rich Hall, Eddie Izzard and Ross Noble. Oh yeah the guitarist in my band is a stand up so i'd better say him as well, so best of all, Guinness (dont know his real name)

Wow all of the comedians listed so far are really great. I think my absolute favorite will remain Carlos Mencia though.
My favorite is easily Lewis Black. No contest.
AFter him would be PAtton Oswalt and then stephen Lynch.
My favorite is probably Jim Gaffigan. Dane Cook isn't bad, either.
