I guess by recent, it can be from 2004 and onward? I say this, because if I don't put a cap on it, I'll link commercials from as far as the early 90s (Heeeelp, I've faaaallen and I can't get uuuuup! ) Anyways, I was watching some commercials on Youtube that I like, and I felt like making this. Provide a link if you can. Here are a few that come to mind:

The only adverts on british TV that have made me laugh out loud would be the "I can't believe it's not butter" adverts with Ozzy Osbourne and Jon Culshaw. Basically it's Jon done up in his Ozzy outfit from Dead Ringers, looking and sounding exactly like Ozzy and...well, it's just too good for words really. You just have to have seen it.

I don't have a link, however I have a description:

A girl in a school uniform is standing in front of what seems to be a glass window for jail-visits. Her mother is behind it with an orange jumpsuit on. The daugter asks "When do you get out, momma?" to which the mother replies "Soon baby, soon."

They put their hands to the glass.
"I love you momma!" cries the girl.
"I love you too, baby!" replies the mother, teary eyed. She turns and bends down and proceeds to scrub her bathtub.

It is an advertisement for some sort of bath scrub formula, and the commercial is ruddy hilarious.

Ive always loved the Citroen transformer ads:

The new one has a CE ice skating, but I prefer this one cause the music has been chosen well.

My favourite commercial so far is the Finnish Donald Duck radio commercial which deals with Donald and Daisy eating in a restaurant and then escaping Uncle $crooge for certain complicated reasons, and finally a serious news announcer says some cool stuff and tells you to check out next week's Donald Duck comic to find out what happens next. The voice actors do a great job, and the whole thing is so hilarious with references to some Donald Duck stories and the Finnish popular culture in general.
