Nazism doesn't necessarily require genocide and/or the extermination of other races. It requires that racial groups live together and do not mix. Genocide is just a way of ensuring that it works out, as discusting as that may be.
Indeed, most modern people who ascribe to Nazi thinking are of the opinion that races should be segregated more than exterminated. Or at least when they make proclamations that's what they claim.
Although nazism is closely related to fascism and does preach violence.
