Prom

This thread is really just a shameless excuse to post a picture of me in a tux.

However, in order to give it some merit, I'll ask about all of your prom experiences. Where was it, did you go, did you enjoy it, did you have any funny stories?

Our prom was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, this saturday, and I went. Even though I was sick with intestinal parasite, I still went and had possibly one of the best nights of my life (trite, I know).

I've never been to an actual prom.
Only Juniors and Seniors can go to them at the high school I go to.

I went to prom on April 21, 2001 with my boyfriend. It was our first date.

I never went to my prom. I never knew why... some sort of weird teenage rebellion I guess. But I did manage to go to a shhhwanky christmas party that was somewhat like it.



But who the hell would want that? I guess I wanted to shamelessly plug myself wearing a suit too... hehe.

oh I just noticed that BJ is wearing sneakers. I've seen that pic before and Mandee sporting sneakers with a prom dress is hilarious.

I skipped my prom b/c of two reasons: the girl I had a crush on got back with her BF before I could ask her (like within one day wtf), and secondly I really REALLY didn't like the people in my school.

So I ended up going to a friend's prom with her, had the best time, and lol etc etc got drunk and passed out.

Bonnie jokingly asked me to take her to her prom but due to poor planning on her part (b/c she asked, it's her fault), I never went.

I didn't go to prom last year and the year before because ugh, I cannot picture myself in a dress. I felt waay too like a little kid to wear a dress! :S It would've made me feel like I was playing dress up. ;_;

But I'm going this year, in December. Oh, who knows?! ^_^ MAYBE I'll get pictures.

well, prom for me was about 3 weeks ago, and i didnt go to prom cause A. i dont have a girlfriend B. i dont like dancing C. im a junior, ill go senior year..............





........................................... BUT i did go the a prom after party where i got really wasted and ended up sleeping in a closet..... good time........

I got asked to two other proms on two other days but I could not go for I had fallen in loooove.

Only seniors at our school can buy tickets (2 apiece), but anyone can go (my girlfriend's a junior). But, last year, I went to some rich hoity-toity private school's prom with some girl I talked to like once, and talked to like twice afterwards.

I almost went to prom, but I got sick of high school and dropped out.

I've never really had any interest in it. I think I was at home playing games.

My senior year I was in a relationship with Myles and we lived 1,000 miles apart so I didn't go. It would have made me too sad.

Besides . . . other than Myles ( once so far and it was wonderful! ) and two forced happening ( one of those, I like your friends so I'm using you to get brownie points because no one else will dance with you ), I've never slow danced with anyone.

Dunno. Maybe I don't look nice in a dress? -shrug-

No prom for me. <- That little thing means I am happy about the fact I didn't go to any prom. Just not very interesting...
