They were in a special group that had staff forum access. Not real moderators.

They were afraid of all your friends leaving before the week was up, and then realizing how great the forums were without them, the staff wouldn't have an april fools joke to play.
He made one in the FF7 forum? Wow, I missed that. I stopped checking all the other forums after all this started. Feedback and LJ were active enough. xDThe most obvious clue of them all was at the very beginning. Only one person, one person, bothered to ask WHY kishi would make a thread with a hentai image in it in the FFVII Forum, if he didn't want to get banned. It doesn't make any sense! That was one of the best parts.
