All I'm trying to say is that the Feedback Forum needs to be taken care of better than it currently is. As I see it, it's almost like a joke forum.
As for the new smilies threads... Come on, EoFF doesn't need any more smilies, and there's already enough as it is. If the staff is going to add more, they can just do so on their own, just like how Shlup added the pandas and skulls.
The staff should take care of each thread as they see fit.
Proto, I totally agree with you.

Likewise. However...[q=Agent Proto]If a thread is not acceptable, just close it immediately so others won't take the oppurtunity to spam the thread with nonsense, or do whatever the staff decides to do.[/q]This isn't much help when staff members decide to spam threads with nonsense.Originally Posted by Leeza

This thread made me think of Richter Belmont.
Are you calling Goomba stupid?! :goomba:

Do we close this thread too? Heh.
Chat is part of EoFF. If you can think of a better place to discuss the rules of chat over a long period of time, that'd be great, but last time I checked not everyone is able to see every line of chat, meanwhile everyone is able to see every post here about chat. So yeah. Don't think they're all that different, because really, they're not. They're both EoFF, most chatters in #eoff are registered at EoFF and we really do need to do more to keep chat active because chat is an important part of EoFF. Definitely. Roogle, clout and I run #eoff at the moment and I think you're just as unimportant as you think chat is, so meh.
I don't see any major problems with the threads although they are getting a bit spammy and sometimes a little hostile but I'm quite confident that we can solve such things. Feedback seems to be the only forum in EoFF that can actually give me a headache, though. It's notable that when I originally suggested the Feedback Forum, I suggested it to be a thread, and if it was to be a forum it was to be temporary. I wouldn't really mind if it disappeared altogether. Maybe things wouldn't be so frustrating for certain members and maybe other certain members wouldn't get so annoyed at staff, or with each other anymore.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
No, I don't think that we should close this thread, BoB. Proto has a made some very good points and Feedback has been dubbed the Spam Forum and I guess that's a far cry from what it was originally meant for. This spammyness does get quite frustrately when someone does try to put a legitimate thread in here. Isn't there enough of that going on in GC? It's really difficult to take someone seriously in here, but if you don't, you get unprofessional thrown at you so I really have to agree with Proto that it is getting ridiculous in here.

The closing thing was a joke. =P But I do think that this place isn't exactly the most productive of forums, not after so long. It's just become a spam forum with a touch of debate something to death, wait a month or two, repeat exact conversation, etc.

There's not that much to give feedback on The forums are going mostly fine, as far as I can tell. And when something does not suit someone's tastes, a person comes and argues it to death. And occasionally when there is a serious feedback thread, it gets dealt with. ^_^ Just because there are spammy threads does not mean that you can't bring up serious threads, either. So instead of letting the forum die, some people feel the need to spam it up and bring it to life! So while it is spammy, the original purpose is still being met, eh? (Hah I'm British *runs around*) Personally I think it's okay to have fun with feedback and not have it be serious all the time.
PS how dare you think my thread is unimportant, Jiff ;_; *runs away crying*
Wat

wtf
rawr
Simply put, I doubt much would go on here without, and from what I can tell, most things that are requested get solved anyway in spite of the spam. It seems to be working fine as it is, and while I agree some of the stuff if unneccessary, why not let us have our fun?

If you don't like the threads pr00t, don't read them. There, problem solved.
If you're chewing on a piece of tinfoil...stop.
