BAD UNNE for not including the 4:3 1280 x 960, and using the inferior 5:4 distorted 1280 x 1024 instead I use the former on my PC, and 1024 x 768 on the laptop.

    Aye, it's the 1280 x 960 for me too (32 bit colour).
Most of the computers I use at school are set to 800 x 600, and I can barely stand it.

    1280x1024 is non-distorted to my eyes. I can't look at 1280x960.

This poll doesn't go below 320x240? What a sham.

1280x1024 isn't obviously distorted until you try watching 4:3 videos on it, then see everything is squashed Even more annoying when you try to full screen a 4:3 video on a 4:3 monitor and find it doesn't fill the whole screen

1280x1024 these days, apparently. Anything lower than that makes me cringe as icons swell to ridiculous sizes.

I don't notice any distortion at all, and I switch constantly between 1280x1024 on my computer and 1024x768 on my parents'. Beats me. 1280x960 looks mutated.
