Hello again! It's that time again. FanArt Friday! Welcome to another edition of Final Fantasy Fan Art Showcase of the Week, where we show the best of the best from DeviantArt! Last week we showed off some excellent artwork, and this week we'll see another set of artists show off their skills. But you're not here for the text... let's get on with the art!
Garland - FF1 by DanielGreyS
Let's start this week's showcase with this bad boy. We have this really awesome looking black and white picture of the major villain of the first Final Fantasy, Garland. I really love the detail put into this work, and how Daniel managed to make the villain very visible and noticeable with just the two contrasting colors. Very amazing job!
Ultimecia by RedLotusGuren
From one villain to another, our next featured fan art is the alluring beauty from Final Fantasy VIII, Ultimecia! I simply love this one. It's so beautiful.
Rinoa and Carbuncle by AndreaKiissu
Now for something different, as we have a more traditional fan art of Rinoa and one of the GFs. This drawing is really cute, and I really like the use of coloring pencils to color than of digital means. It adds a unique flavor to this drawing, and it really works. Carbuncle looks really cute too! Nice job!
Tidus from Final Fantasy with calligraphy Spirit by MyCKs
Wow. That's all I can say about this. It's another fan art done by traditional means using sumi ink and watercolor. It just looks really cool when the two is blended together. I really enjoy this piece and I hope you all do as well!
A fleeting dream by Nome-chan
Our Cosplay of the Week goes to Nome-chan's wonderful cosplay of Yuna in this wonderful photograph of her standing gracefully in a field of flowers. The added special effects add a nice touch to this picture, and I have to admire all the hard work put into the costume and on that staff as well. It's wonderful.
