Grin Battle of pointless operating systems!

    Windows 98 or Windows ME

Which do you prefer (if you had to; and you do). Why?

Be as technical as you'd like. I'm very curious.

98 was when Windows started being crap. 95 was good.

Windows 98 for nostalgic reasons. I've never actually used ME apart from at a friends house, but it worked fine.

And wouldn't this be better called the battle of obsolete operating systems?

Windows ME deserves a very special place in software hell. God, that OS was awful.

98 SE. 98 was , as was ME. I mean, son, they were all , but the block of known as 98 SE was less astic than the other s. , I dunno why they even bothered ting out the hole system restore feature for ME. Short answer, NT < 2000 < XP < < ALL < Linux.

    Linux 98 ftw. .

If I was to choose a Windows OS from that era, it'd have to be Windows NT 4 with Service Pack 6.

98 with ease. ME always crashed on me and anytime I tried to change any settings on my comp it would die.
