| | OOC: Ok, first and foremost, this RP will be a short RP compared to that of the other in this saga. This RP is considered to be and short Prequel. The Battle System of this RP will be similar to that of Darkness: Path Towards Salvation with a few changes. This will still be a turn based game like FFX. This game will be tournament based, meaning players would be competitive against each other in numerous task including player-to-player battles. I will be judging those battles, calculating damage and so forth. Here are some additional rules before we continue... 6) No controlling NPCs unless authorized by the GM. 7) Do not execute actions your character cannot do in or outside of battle that is not designated. (For example; if your character cannot fly, don't write a post saying he/she is fly over obstacles.) 8) If playerss are inactive for doing a challenge 3 days without notice then that character will be disqualified from that particular challenge and no points will be rewarded. Now then. The character's In-Battle Ability List will consist of two different categories. These categories will be determined by which two Gods are that particular character created from. For example; Cextrion is of the two Gods Oda and Bota, The Twin Gods of Death. Therefor, Cextrion has a Oda category of In-Battle Abilities, and a Bota category of In-Battle Abilities. Depending on the God of your character's category, your character will be able to use certain types of attacks and other things which are the types of elements you can use in that category, types of Status Effects you can use in that category, and whether you can use, Support, Physical, or Healing Abilities from that particular category. The list of Gods and the categories for In-Battle Abilities are as followed: Uriko (God of Fortune): Able to use Support and Healing Abilities in this category. Fire, Ice, Thunder, and Water are compatible with this category. Curse, Weaken, Blessed, and Resist are compatible with this category. Radius (God of Honor): Able to Support and Physical Abilities in this category. Ice, Earth, Water and Shine are compatible with this category. Berserk, Seal, Phy. Def, and Ele. Def are compatible with this category. Xander (God of Family): Able to use Support and Physical Abilities in this category. Wind, Earth, Water, and Shadow are compatible with this category. Sleep, Confuse, Multi, Gra. Heal and compatible with this category. Mariah (God of Love): Able to use Physical and Healing Abilities in this category. Ice, Earth, Shadow and Shine are compatible with this category. Sap, Curse, Mirror, and Blessed are compatible with this category Panjai (God of Life): Able to use Support and Healing Abilities in the category. Fire, Water, Wind, and Shine are compatible with this category. Poison, Weaken, Auto-Life, and Blessed are compatible with this category Bota (Twin God of Death): Able to use Healing and Physical Abilities in this category. Earth, Wind, Water and Shadow are compatible with this category. Undead, Weaken, Phy. Def and Gra. Heal are compatible with this category. Oda (Twin God of Death): Able to use Support and Physical Abilities in this category. Fire, Ice, Thunder and Shadow are compatible with this category. Undead, Curse, Ele. Def, Mirror are compatible with this category. Zayo (God of Agriculture): Able to use Support and Healing Abilities in this category. Water, Wind, Earth, and Thunder are compatible with this category. Sap, Poison, Auto-Life, Multi are compatible with this category. Leo (God of Sky and Sea): Able to use Support and Physical Abilities in this category. Wind, Thunder, Water, Ice are compatible with this category. Berserk, Confuse, Multi and Resist are compatible with this category. Enima (King of Gods): Able to use Healing and Physical Abilities in this category. Fire, Thunder, Shadow and Shine are compatible with this category. Seal, Curse, Auto-Life and Blessed For Example, Cextrion has both Bota and Oda (Twin Gods of Death) for his categories. According to the chart, for Bota's Attack List, Cextrion can only use Healing and/or Physical Abilities and can only use the elements Earth, Wind, Water, and Shadow in this particular attack list. Cextrion can only use the Status Effects Undead, Weaken, Phy. Def and Gra. Heal in this particular category. For Oda's Attack List, Cextrion can only use Support and/or Physical Abilities and can only use elements Fire, Ice, Thunder, and Shadow in this particular attack list. Cextrion can only use Status Effects Undead, Curse, Ele. Def, Mirror in this particular category. One Element and Status Effect can be assigned for each attack which can use them Each Attack List can only have three different commands. Elements and Status Effects of those commands are completely up to the controller of that character and must abide by the designated chart. Meaning, if you don't have Fire Element as a compatible element for that category, you can't use it in that category. Same goes for Status Effects Besides the normal attack command, Support, Healing, and Physical Commands are special commands that provide more powerful techniques then the normal attack. The description of the commands are as followed: Support Command: Provide techniques that can inflict damage to one/a set amount/or all opponents, or increase and/or alter stats. Support Commands will continue to last in combat for a set amount of turns. Other Support Commands of the character that has an active Support Command cannot be used until the active Support Command has expired. This command will always be influenced by Elements. This command can use Status Effects. This will not consume MP. Healing Command: Provides techniques that can Heal you and/or party by great amounts, or Dispel Status Effects. Using Healing Command on the Undead or Undead Status Characters will cause opposite effects. This command will always be effected by Elements and will consume MP. This command can uses Status Effects. Physical Command: Provides techniques that can only attack one/a set amount/or all opponents with powerful physical force. 40 points of damage will be automatically added to Physical Power when Physical Command are used. This command will never be effected by Elements and will not consume MP or use Status Effects. With this knowledge, by very mindful about the types of techniques, the element these techniques will be influenced by, how many enemies or allies will be targeted. and so forth. I will be monitoring all attacks to avoid Godmodding. But I strongly encourage creativity when describing techniques and their effects on the battlefield. As you can see, Support Abilities are easily the most well rounded we it comes to technique types. Well, Support Abilities can also inflict Status Effects. Status Effects is the act of altering ones status for better or worse. The Status Effects or as followed: Negative Status Effects: Sap - Gradually depletes MP by a set amount. Last for 4 battle turns. Blind - Effects Physical Attacking accuracy by set amount. Last for 3 player turns Poison - Gradually depletes HP by set amount. Last for 4 battle turns. Sleep - Puts the character to sleep. Last for 2 player turns or until character is stricken by an attack. Seal - Seals character's ability to uses Special Commands. Last for 2 player turns. Confuse - Character will uses attack at random aimed at random targets. Last for 2 player turns. Berserk - Characters will normal attack opponents randomly with augmented strength. Last 3 player turns. Curse - Minuses the percentage of a Divine Blessing Technique. Last for 2 battle turns. Weaken - Minuses the percentage of resistance to Status Effects. Last for 4 battle turn Undead - Turn the character into a zombie. Last 3 player turns. Positive Status Effects: Phy. Def - Increase Physical Defense by a set amount. Last for 3 player turns Ele. Def - Increases Element Defense by a set amount. Last for 3 player turns. Gra. Heal - Gradually increases HP by a set amount. Last for 4 battle turns Mirror - Reflects Element Techniques back to a random target. Last for 4 battle turns. Multi - Increase Physical and Element Evasion. Last for 3 player turns Auto-Life - Character will automatically recover HP after being defeated. Last for 3 battle turns Blessed - Increases percentage of a Divine Blessing Technique. Last for 2 turns Resist - Increases percentage of resisting Status Effects. Last for 4 battle turn Player turns and Battle turns are very different. Player turns count by each time a specific character's turn passes. Battle turn count by each time all character's turn passes. If player chooses to use no Status Effect in Support Techniques, then so be it. Out of Battle Abilities are automatically assigned by the GM and can only be used outside of battle when designated by GM. Out of Battle Abilities will be determined by the two Gods a character consist of. The list of Gods and their Out of Battle abilities are as followed: Uriko (God of Fortune) Increased Luck with Completing Task Super Speed More Sneaky Manipulate Thunder Element Radius (God of Honor) Well Respected By All Good NPCs More Charismatic Super Strength Manipulate Shine Element Xander (God of Family) Well Respected By Fathers and Mothers More Charismatic Super Strength Manipulate Earth Element Mariah (God of Love) NPCs of Opposite Gender Becomes Infatuated Manipulate Earth Element Manipulate Shadow Element Manipulate Shine Element Panjai (God of Life) Well Respected by All Good NPCs Can Revive Designated NPCs Can Put Designated Undead NPCs to Rest Manipulate Shine Element Bota (Twin God of Death) Well Respected By All Evil NPCs Can Summon Dead Souls Manipulate Wind Element Manipulate Shadow Element Oda (Twin God of Death) Well Respected By All Evil NPCs Can Reanimate Dead Corpse Into Undead Soldiers Manipulate Fire Element Manipulate Shadow Element Zayo (God of Agriculture) Can Travel Any Ground Terrain Unhindered Well Respected By All Wild Life Can Talk To Wild Life Manipulate Earth Element Leo (God of Sky and Sea) Can Fly Can Breath Underwater Manipulate Water Element Manipulate Wind Element Enima (King of Gods) Well Respected By All Forms of NPCs Super Strength Super Speed Manipulate Shine Element Once again, Out of Battle Abilities can only be used when designated by the GM. The Stats Sheet will hold all of the areas of battle all players need to know. The Stat Sheet consist of the following: HP (When this runs out you have fainted until revived or after battle) MP (You need this in order to use element attacks. All element attack consumes MP.) Physical Power (Damage dealt with normal weapon. Physical Damage is calculated by the difference of the attacker Physical Power and the targets Physical Defense. if Physical Defense is higher than Physical Power, no damage will be taken regardless of an successful hit. If the two are the same, 1 point of damage will be taken.) Physical Defense (Refer to Physical Power Description.) Speed (Determines the number of attacks to Physical Attacks. Every 50 points adds an extra attack.) Evasion (Determines the chance of evading ALL physical or element attacks. If the evasion is higher that accuracy, chance of evading attacks dramatically increase. If Accuracy is higher than Evasion, chances of evading will decrease to zero. If the two are the same, you will have a 50% chance of blocking reducing damage.) Accuracy (Refer to Evasion Description.) Element Power (Element attacks can't be evaded. Damage from Element attacks will be calculated by the difference of the attackers Element Power and the targets Element Defense. If the targets Elements Defense is higher that the attackers Element Power than damage is reduces to zero. If target can absorb the element Damage will be add their HP instead of subtracted.) Element Defense (Refer to Element Power Description.) DBP (Divine Blessing Percentage will determine the rate a Divine Blessing Technique will occur. The higher the Percentage, the more likely a Divine Blessing Technique will occur. For every 200 points at the beginning of this RP, 10% percent will be added to the beginning DBP. After the beginning, More percentage can be purchased at stores.) SEP (Status Effect Percentage will determine the rate a Status Effect will be resisted. The higher the percentage, the more likely a Status Effect will not occur. For every 100 points at the beginning. 10% will be added to the beginning SEP. After the beginning, More percentage can be purchased at stores. Be aware guys, SEP works for ALL Status Effects. Having 0% means causing Status Effects with your character will not work at all. And defending against Status Effect will be useless.) A full stat sheet should look like this: Cextrion - Peon of Darkness Element Type: HP: MP: Physical Power: Physical Defense: Speed: Accuracy: Evasion: Element Power Element Defense: DBP: SEP: Bota's Attack List: 1) (Name of attack, Description of attack, Type of attack, Attack's Element if exist, and Attacks Status Effect if exist) 2) (Name of Attack, Description of attack, Type of attack, Attack's Element if exist, and Attacks Status Effect if exist) 3) (Name of Attack, Description of attack, Type of attack, Attack's Element if exist, and Attacks Status Effect if exist) Oda's Attack List: 1) (Name of Attack, Description of attack, Type of attack, Attack's Element if exist, and Attacks Status Effect if exist) 2) (Name of Attack, Description of attack, Type of attack, Attack's Element if exist, and Attacks Status Effect if exist) 3) (Name of Attack, Description of attack, Type of attack, Attack's Element if exist, and Attacks Status Effect if exist) Divine Blessing Techniques: 1) (Name of Attack, Description of Attack) 2) (Name of Attack, Description of Attack) Divine Intervention: 1)??? As you may noticed by now, Divine Blessing Techniques are very mysterious. These techniques and their descriptions are controlled by the players, but the effects of the attacks are up to the GM. Each character is given two Divine Blessing Techniques. One for each God the particular character is conceived of. Divine Blessing Techniques are used automatically in the game at anytime by the GM. But, the rate of which these attacks occur are up to the character's DBP. But, another command which is even more mysterious is the Divine Intervention. Little is known about this action. But, it is said that the very Gods themselves influences the battlefield... I will give all Players 1000 points to divide among stats in anyway them see fit. After that, in order to increase any stat, you must purchase points from the shops in the Heavenly City of St. Peter with TP (Tournament Points). TP will be given by the combination of conditions after each match. Those conditions are Style, Stamina, Strategy, and Resolve. These conditions will be watched over closely during each battle and players will receive TP by the outcome of their performances after a challenge. TP will also decide the final verdict. Meaning, at the end of the tournament, the character with the most TP is the winner. Remember, Style, Stamina, Strategy, and Resolve will decide your fate. Now then, I need all players to create their character's Stat Sheet and submit them for my revise and approval. Last edited by TyphoonThaReapa; 07-07-2008 at 09:40 AM. |

OOC: Sorry if it was son complicated. But once we get this part over with, then the hard part is over. Let's see, First of all, your 260 points over the limit of your stats. Second, Dark Barrage is a Physical Ability. Meaning it will not hold and Element or Status Effect. Third, Shell of Shadow's too strong. If you want to increase stats with a technique. Do so with, Positive Status Effect that your able to use. Otherwise, you can't describe your attack as such. That's all I see wrong. I will also now update the description of Physical Command. And make sure to add your Element Type to your Stat Sheet. Again, sorry that it's sooo difficult.... ![]() Last edited by TyphoonThaReapa; 07-04-2008 at 09:35 AM. |
