| My last RP kind of died, and I did a few things wrong that I didn't think about. So lessons learnt and time spent better planning. So here's a new one from me. In the Kingdom of Illadorn strange happenings are occurring as a dark plot moves ever forward slowly engulfing the world. Everything begins in the lands of Illadorn in the small village of Keltan. This is a D&D campaign I was running with some friends a while ago, but due to our short attention spans we never finished it. As with D&D it's a fantasy magical world with no real advanced technology, no guns or the like. To start I'll state this isn't an RP, but a Continuing Story, the main difference is that think of this as a story that we all help write a piece at a time. So we all contribute to what happens and can add our own flavor into the world with what's there, however the main story and what not is still something I'll control over and work on focusing on. Despite that it's more or less like an RP, though with each of us helping create things. Also I don't control the fights, I let you each do your own thing, though I might toss something in there for story or to spice it up. As for the... Rules All of Void's rules are on effect. 1. To iterate on his number 7, I really don't want to set an amount of text to post, just don't make it short one-two liners every post and we should be fine. 2. In character creation nothing over the top, just think of your character as being level 1 to start and you should be good. 3. In combat, nothing too over the top (cough, DBZ). 4. No controlling major NPC's unless given permission, or other people's characters/NPC's without permission. Also everyone will be starting in Keltan Village, so if you'd like you can find a reason for why your character is there, or else I can make one up for you if you need one. Character Sheet Name: Age: Race: * Class: * Alignment: ** (Anything not evil) School: *** (only for Wizards) Primary Weapon: Secondary Weapon(s): Appearance: Background: *Since this is D&D based I'll be having these from the rule book, only the core ones though. Choices for race are -Human -Dwarf -Halfling -Gnome -Elf -Half-Elf -Half-Orc Classes are as follows -Barbarian -Bard -Cleric -Druid -Fighter -Monk -Paladin -Rogue -Ranger -Sorcerer -Wizard If you need a description of any of the above then let me know. Eventually there will be chances for prestige classes as our characters grow up and get stronger, but for now it's just the basics. **Alignment is basically where your character stands on morals, the 9 alignments can be found here with some description as to the difference. ***If you play a wizard you need to pick a primary school of magic which you will master and that will be the school your spell list will be primarily made up of, and the only one where you'll get all the high end super spells from. The schools are as follows -Abjuration: Protective, blocking, and banishing magic. -Conjuration: Summoning spells of creatures and objects. -Divination: Information revealing spells. -Enchantment: Controlling other beings wills. -Evocation: Spells that manipulate energy and creates something from nothing. -Illusion: I believe this one is simple enough to get. ![]() -Transmutation: Spells that change or enhance beings physically or change their properties subtly. I think that about covers it. I didn't want to get this too technical and number based like real D&D and focus more on the story and what not. I'll post up some spell lists or just PM them to people if you go a route with magic. There's no stats or anything in this, as it's tedious to keep track of and I want this to mostly just be a fun story and RP to be in. Any questions feel free to ask, and let's make this fun.

| no evilness?! now I can't run my assassin.... I take it there are no templates, either. Man, for a core set of rules, there sure a lot of restrictions. Oh, well, enough of my belly aching. Name: Talys-Nor Blueleaf Age:136 Gender:Male Race:Elf Class:Fighter Alignment: Lawful Good Primary: Spiked Chain Secondary:Halberd Appearance: Background: A deserter of an elfin army, Talys-Nor is seeking atonement for turning his back on his king, family, and kin. | The alignment is mostly just to add a little clarity on where you character stands, and no evil just because it's hard to make evil characters fit into a story where the good guys are in charge. ![]() As for the alignment in the rules and what not, I'm not gonna be obnoxious and say Assassin's have to be evil or a Paladin HAS to be Lawful good. The alignment is just for flavor and to make everyone's motivations clearer. As for your character looks good just include a background and alignment. ![]()

| Alright approved. As for the picture, I just upload mine to photobucket then do an image tag to put it in. Other wise to attach just make sure it's the right format to attach and it also isn't over the size limit and it should work. Though there have been problems with uplaoding images to the site recently.
