They, too, tire of this demon in man's skin. Our secret weapon is..."

Think of medieval Europe. Now think of it with advanced machines, genetic manipulation, and sci-fi robots. Now move it to America, before it was colonized. Think rolling plains, forests, no modern cities, save for one medieval European metropolis. Got a picture? Grood.

'Kay, there are two races to be: Tr'ilyani or Paragon.

Tr'ilyani are like spellswords. Most are mildly spiritual, but they are a warrior race. They live about the land in scattered tribes, though they are unified through special crystals that allow for telepathic communication and teleportation. Think sun stones from ffxii.

The Paragon are super soldiers. They're athletic, agile, and beautiful, not to mention intelligent. The average Paragon is comparable to an olympic level gymnast performing a gold medal routine whilst simultaneously beating for super-computers at chess. They have limited regenerative power, and thanks to that, they are near tireless. Despite this, they have personality, but they generally share the same love of combat and victory, some more than others.

Rules

1) Follow Void's rules, obviously. Kinda universal, no?
2) Paragon are incapable of casting magic, Tr'ilyani are the spell casters.
3) I'd like to reiterate Void's rules 2,3,and 8.
4) Paragon do not physically age. They are created to look a certain age, and stay that age unless they request to be genetically altered to look a certain age. Paragon can, however, die of natural causes.

Character Sheet
Name:
Race: Paragon or Tr'ilyani
Gender: Male or female, although Paragon can request to be genderless.
Age: (Paragon face a special rule, see above)
Appearance: Height, eyes, Hairstyle/color, clothes.
Personality: A couple of words on how your character generally carries themselves.
Weapons: Guns are iffy. If someone wants a gun, then there are guns. Otherwise, nah.
Special Abilities/Qualities: Paragon only. Two tops.
Magic: Tr'yilyani only. Flashy, potent and tiring. Try to keep it short, as in 3-5. You can draw from any source, but give a (short) description of it.
Signature Move: After which your character becomes visibly tired. (optional)

You might want to include military status or standing as well. Bios are optional, but nice.

Alrighty, I think that's everything, so I'll post my character to set a nice little example.

Race: Paragon
Gender: Male
Age: early 20's
Appearance: 5'10, green eyes and chin length blonde hair. Wears regal-looking azure armor.
Personality: Cold, calculating and quiet.
Weapon: Broadsword christened Valiant.
Special abilities: Resistance to pain, sharpened senses.
Signature move: Possession of Self
Mikial relaxes all of the muscles in his body, and concentrates on his senses. He perceives everything as if it were moving more slowly than they actually are, heightening his reflexes.

We can start when we have about four players, two Paragon (including myself) and two Tr'ilyani. Also, it'd be nice if someone would elect to be the 'leader' of the Tr'ilyani characters, and further their culture. If anyone's interested, PM me, and we'll talk about it.

Also, state if you're a newborn if you're a Paragon.

Personality: Straight to the point. Cold logical. Inside I care and act upon that.
Weapons: My right arm. With the ability to transform into a sword, knife, lance and drill. Along with a whip of light and a scythe. BUt the whip is on my hip and the scythe is sheathed on my back.
Special Abilities/Qualities: Telekinesis, Super paragonal reflexes
Signature Move: X-Buster
Open up my stomach and unleash a blast of energy that I have stored.

Has a love for fighting and testing he lmits. Participates in brawls mostly legal. Her gladiator mode is when she enters a competition and her power is higher along with her speed. She carries her gladiator armor in her maintenance pod

Personality: Quiet, Solitary, Demands Respect and doesn't hesitate.
Weapons: Bow and Arrows on my back with a Whip and Knife on my belt.
Magic: Earthen Heal: Heals Wounds.
Lightning Barrage: Strikes an enemy with multiple lightning bolts.
Shockwave: Sends out multiple Shockwaves that inflict little damage, but knock enemies back.
Holy Beam: Sends out a beam of Light that incinerates enemies with Fire and Light.
All of my moves use a power source called Cosmic Energy, which is drawn in through a necklace which I wear.
Signature Move: Cosmic Strike: Draws in a lot of Cosmic Energy and then lets it all out over enemies.

I don't mind being the 'Leader' of the Tr'ilyani peoples.

Appearance: 5'9, blue eyes, short brown hair, Wears a black leather coat and brown leather breeches. Wears a black headband on his head.

Personality: Cold, with a touch of cruel sarcasm

Weapons: A long katana (sheath on lower back.) A revolver (6-shot, holder on left side of waist.)

Magic:
Hell's Hand: Short range (Cone shape) blast of dark energy from Coger's palm. Draws from fire
Nightmare:Long Range AoE Shadow blast, draws from shadows
Phantom Pulse: Short Range AoE shadow blast, push back, draws from own energy.
Requiem: Large homing sphere of nonelemental energy shot from revolver. Draws from energy of others.

Signature Move: Requiem Phantasm:
Phase 1: Uses dark energy to create shadow clones of Coger's Katana, surrounding him and protecting him from almost all physical attacks.
Phase 2: Releases illusion blades to attack the opponent, Coger joins in with his own sword and speed.

Recent Background: After losing his team to a swarm of enraged Paragons, Coger has ruthlessly risen up the ranks of the Tr'ilyani's knights ranks. Slowly storing up his vengeance to kill as many Paragons as possible.

Sword of Destruction- He puts a large a large amount of energy into his sword, giving it explosively destructive powers.
Dancing Light- His speed is tripled.
