| | During, another speech by Illhand, a shockwave rips through the village, knocking everyone off balance. The houses rock, and a few crumble to the ground. Screams and smoke rise through the air. The clanking of machines and the dull thud of marching footsteps accompanies the explosions. The enemy steps forward through the smoke. "Ready, soldiers!" Illihand says. "We fight for the glory of the gods!" He turns and enters his house, and returns with a rune-covered spear. "Luga mages, to the fore!" The Luga, who are more magically tuned than the warriors, step forward to begin casting their magic. Glowing with energy, they hold their hands to the air, as balls of flame fall to the ground in explosion. They destroy a few of their machines, but they are unhindered. The Luga fall back to rest. Reimus Illihand turns to you, his face serious. You can almost see the many strategies swimming in his eyes. "Reimus, I shall entrust thirty Luga to you. I know you shall make the gods proud." With that, he leaves to talk to Serena. The thirty Luga form up in front of you, awaiting your order. Serena After talking to Reimus, Illihand gives you fifty warriors, Ten Luga among them to fight with. He takes fifty warriors and ten Luga of his own and scatters them about the village. One of the warriors, a woman of about twenty five walks up to you. "Miss Serena. I am Sera, and this was my squad. I've heard of your endeavors, and am proud to learn from you. Guide us as you will, and exact the gods' punishment on these abberations!" The fighters cheer, waiting for your order. The Forest of Gaki KOS MOS The fighter seems to be unable to keep up with your increase of strength. You’re not hitting him, but he’s only barely able to stay out of your reach. He rarely parries with his sword, and when he does, he almost falls over. However, the more you attack, the easier he seems to dodge. You slowly increase in speed and power, switching from 25% to 25.1, .2, .3... Suddenly, he makes a fast, strong parry, knocking you off balance. He dashes forward, his speed ignoring his fatigue. One moment he’s in front of you, the next, he’s behind you, his blade to your throat. “Well, you don’t seem to learn quickly. I watch you fight, then learn your patterns. They’re feral and brutal, but like my own, they cannot lack logic. You think you’re the only one holding back? You’re in for a surprise.” He lets his blade down and jumps back. Analysis of his power level shows that he was holding back. He was fighting at around thirty percent of his strength and ten percent of his speed. He waits for you to make the next move. Minas The archer looks at X. "X, you're an idiot. You know the penalty for aiding an enemy. I know he saved us, but keeping him alive when we should've killed him twice over is pushing our limits." He looks at you. "I'm grateful to you for helping me kill that giant, so I won't kill you. Instead, you've got five minutes. Run." |

| | X1 "I'm sorry, but my creator was abit mental, brilliant, but mental. So this kind of thing is in my programming" I close my right eye and a small screen appears "I'm going to hack into as many of the surrounding Paragons and stealthly lead him out of here". I say to the Archer "Birdman, if you want to get out of here you will have to follow me, but we have to be careful since I cant track everyone" A map appears showing the surrounding Paragons that are cyberlinked. | | Reimus "Those who know lightning magic step forward." The Luga in front of him formed two lines: only five stepped forward. "Those with lightning, begin casting your spell and target their machines. 10 target the soldiers, the rest, be on standby." I begin casting Fire Boomerang at the soldiers. OOC: I assumed them to know elemental magic. |
