IT's basically this, "Do you want to take a chance at killing a Mafia"

And also, if no one is suspicious now, how will you get a target after this?

I mean someone has to be suspicious asside from me, otherwise Mafia have already won.

Just because "[you're] a serial killer" doesn't mean you know who is mafia and who isn't mafia. So you can't say you'll make a town-favorable kill tonight. If you are a serial killer, then it only makes sense to lynch you.

You picked a really, really bad roleclaim.

Maybe if this were later in the game we might for a split second consider this offer, but we've got like a 90% chance of choosing a townie at this point.

Australia's awfully lucky that they didn't get killed last night xD

If you really are the serial killer, couldn't you just use the same logic tomorrow? "I'll kill whoever you want, don't kill me today." Serial killer only wins if town loses though. (right?) Any way you put it now, you're someone that's bad for the town.

I'm stating that now, so I don't really have grounds to stand on if I try to pull it again.

And any way you put it, after this I'm going to die. I can't win the game at this point regardless of what I do.
