#1 Why the smurf do all of these bloody moronic celebrities seem to think that because they're famous they should write about their pathetic little lives? And who actually buys these books anyway? I mean, Jodie Marsh. Seriously, why? She's a retard. Who cares? Okay, if you can actually write and haven't got to get some other poor sod to write it for you, and you're maybe actually FUNNY, go ahead. But Jordan's autobiographies? Terrible. And then there's bloody Billie Piper. Does anybody really want to read about how she made some terrible music, married Chris Evans, got very very drunk and took lots of drugs? I don't get it. It's like - "Oh, look, people know who I am. I know, let's write a really crap book about how boring I am!" What is your opinion of crap celebrities "writing" crapper books? ![]() |

| | I don't buy them as I *gasp* think they're crap - unfortunately a lot of people do buy them and that's why so many get published. Though it's no at that state where there's so many and so many just flop as it's hit saturation point. But still, blame the idiots who actually buy these things. |

| Banned | I only buy celeb books about celebs I deeply respect, like Peter Kay, John Thaw for example. My cousin has Jordan's and feels so sorry for the crap shes had to go through ... Im sure the thousands she earns makes up for it ... But the one that makes me laugh is Kerry Catatonia (sp) having one, its on sale in Icelands which makes me laugh like some mad woman. She stars in their gay ads and they sell her book! |

| | Carmen Electra's recent work out video was hot stuff :P Back on topic: Autobiographies can be very interesting if they have been written by or about celebrities that have had a lot of influence, are respected or have just had a lot of fame. What I don't understand is why Billie Piper wrote one... sigh. Last edited by Breine; 11-05-2006 at 12:02 AM. |

| | I dunno, I quite like a few. Unfortunately, most of my favourite celebrities are too aloof or too dead to write autobiographies, so I make do with biographies. I do think it's a bit sad that autobiographies have become such a commodity, though; and people are writing their 'life story's at the tender age of twenty. That does make me bugger all. |

| Site Staff | I have never understood why people under the age of 45 write autobiographies anyway, especially people like Wayne Rooney. He's like what, 20? How can you have a book about your life at that age? There are special exceptions, of course, like Mick Foley, but he was still fairly old and he has done a lot of shiet in his life, enough to fill out three books, so yeah. |
