Hitting the ball itself is probably not that bad, but I imagine all the walking around and distance judging can get be incredibly boring. Not to mention that it's slightly annoying that it's a bit of a status sport. Nothing that will ever beat chess, though. Now minigolf, that's just awesome.

Gesundheit! Chess is fantastic. Mm, I don't love golf overmuch, but it can be interesting in its moments (sporadic, few, far between...). And I did like going to the driving range to whap balls about.

I like golf. I was glued to the Ryder Cup there a couple of weeks ago. I find that it's relaxing.

Golf is awesome as a spectator sport. Only on the green though and with a blow horn or a bird whistle. Man great times

Golf is only amusing when gigantic pipes, windmills, and the occasional fiberglass dinosaur are integrated into play.

well.. check this out
your in a deserted decorated field with all that grass, you have a big metal stick with a blob of metal at the end, a little white ball with inner curves into to make it more interesting. Your standing in tight tight trousers with striped colours, some weird yet extremely warm shirt with that weird top thingy on it, you got a striped coloured hat on, which itches like hell, while you beileve your testicals are caveing in cause of the pants. You stand in thin yet very long crampy shoes, driveing around a little cart that you can easy fall out of that takes less eletricity than your ps2.. Hmmm
