Hi guys! I just started watching SG-1 about a month ago in syndication. But when I watched a brand new episode last friday I saw the original general and Colonel O'neil(McGyver) were gone. Did they get replaced by new actors? If anyone could fill me in I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

We don't have the new season in Canada yet, but as I understand it, yes they're both gone. The character of General Hammond has been gone a little while, but has made some guest appearances since. He was replaced as General by O'neill who leaves in the new season I guess. I'm not too worried about it since they brought Ben Browder on the show. If I can't have my Farscape back, I'll gladly take that man being on SG-1 instead.
