Going by the modern definition, MCR is emo, Rye. You just can't admit that 'cause you hate emo but love MCR.

Anyway, I think MCR are way overrated. Helena isn't too bad though.

My girlfriend's little sister is into MCR and all sorts of that stuff mainly (she listens to lots of stuff, but mainly stuff like MCR...not so much emo I mean, but punkish kind of sounds). I could never get into it. The style doesn't mix with my music tastes.

Turn off the radio? I can't even listen to the radio any more. My Chemical Romance isn't emo. They call themselves Metal / Post Hardcore. How the heck can you complain about MCR being overplayed when S.O.A.D. gets played almost non-stop on the radio? They aren't even a quarter of MCR's talent. Unless you're talking about MTV2 or Fuse, in which case replace S.O.A.D. with Hawthorne Heights.
