| Cid's Knight | Yeah, I've not even finished Kings yet because Hux and I love it so much we don't want it to end. Babylon 5, if you're looking for something somewhat nerdy, could definitely work. Its plot is planned out through all 5 seasons, and it's so well thought out. It takes about a season for the main plot to kick in, but you don't even realize it watching season one because it's so fantastic that you think that's how the show is, until they surprise you with another level of awesome. I'm in the middle of season 3 and stuff is getting SUPER serious and fantastic. |

| Former Staff | If you like shows with elements of Sci-fi in it, try out Alias, the show that launched J.J. Abrams' career. The later seasons are pretty much whacked out, but the first 2 seasons of Alias are among the best of any TV show. Ever. The pilot episode of Alias is hands down my favorite pilot, with Lost at a close second. Abrams (who created both shows) knows how to knock it out of the park from the start. Synopsis: Also, there's no way ANYONE could not like Rome (especially the first season, second season not so much). Boobies! Peens! Amazingly vulgar language. It's god damn HBO at its best. If you want to watch something for pure entertainment value, try Entourage. Another HBO show, which means again, boobies, peen, etc. I'm not gonna try and argue that Entourage is a great show, it's not. But Ari Gold is one of the best television characters to have ever existed. Last edited by Miriel; 11-15-2009 at 11:06 PM.. |

| | I would avoid Dollhouse, Fringe, and True Blood, but that's just me. The latter is tolerable because there are a couple of really great characters but unless the show later turns into Lafayette Hour it's very uninteresting to me. Bab 5 is good because it's a show which got to finish. Five seasons were planned, five seasons were made. The last one is a little weak because he had to change networks and some stuff got lost in the shuffle; but it's still excellent. And things aren't left hanging because it was canceled halfway through season 2. |

| Administrator | I keep up with the following shows: The Office - US is better than UK, just deal with it. South Park - Because it's still epic. This season has been giving me a chubby every week so far. Glee - It's funny, dammit. And it's right up your alley--totally fruity and fab. The Venture Bros - Best cartoon in the whole wide world next to South Park. Vampire Diaries - I don't care if it's cliche it's also faaaabulous. Grey's Anatomy - The main storyline this season is depressing, but it's still blood and sex working in perfect harmony, so I still love it. Private Practice - Makes me feel kind of old watching it. This season has been interesting though. Desperate Housewives - Suck it. Weeds - A lot of people don't like past the first season, but the first season is awesome. The most recent season was pretty awesome too. The Secret Life of the American Teenager - Just... don't judge me. V - Not bad, not great, but lots of promise. WAAAAAAAAASSSSHHHH!!!! Californiacation - The plot and, well, most things about it are frustrating. But it's like porn with David Duchovney so I can't help myself. American Dad - I watch Family Guy and The Cleveland Show too, but American Dad is my favorite. Not very popular though. True Blood - I kind of hate Bill and Sookie but I like almost everyone else and find the vampires interesting. No sparkling allowed. The Tudors - The life of Kind Henry VIII, but sexy. There's one season left until he dies. I spent hours reading the Wikis for this period and these people, and it's reasonably historically accurate. And sexy. Heroes - I like this because the characters are so... human. They smurf up like all the time, switch sides, do unexpected things, and have super powers. The other seasons had a hard time living up to the awesomeness that was the first season, but I still like it. Cancelled shows that will forever remain in my heart: Firefly, and Pushing Daisies. And Futurama but it's coming back. Yikes, that's kind of a long list. But I have no job so don't be hatin' on me. |
