Ready to make a run at the top spot this year! I think my midfield should prove very strong.

I think this could be my year and I'm hopeful it's Liverpool's as well. However if we lose our midfield players, all bets are off.

Shizzle. I'll probably leave him out then until I know for sure he'll be alright. Still, as soon as he gets fit he's straight in there.

Damn. Arteta is usually gun for the first half of a season, too. Ditto Edge, in that case. Will have to rely on Ashley Young.

Had a bit of a reshuffle. My first choice XI has suffered slightly but my backup has improved.

ST
OUT: Torres
IN: Campbell - obviously won't get as many goals as Torres, but still think he'll play more and score decently.

MF
OUT: Young
IN: Gerrard - I want someone who is more consistent here.
OUT: Rodwell
IN: P Neville - Someone more likely to play.
OUT: Malbranque
IN: M Taylor - Someone more likely to get goals as well as assists... although Malbranque is still certainly likely to get the latter, not so much the former.

I reckon I'l stick with the team I picked until after the 1st week or so to get some sort of idea as to the form of certain players. I reckon a fit Michael Owen in a United shirt is a dangerous prospect & a point scoring machine. I reckon Lampard & Anelka will have another good season.

I'm confident in Owen to do well enough, but not confident in him enough to get 60 minutes each game (and thus the default 2 points for playing that much).
