I'll never understand Liverpool, they want to win the Premiership but sell their play maker! I wonder will this Poulsen guy from Juventus be any good if they do buy him?

I didn't know we were linked with him. I hope not. From what I've read we're linked with Aquilani and Silva, much better prospects imho.

Aquilani being the likely one from what I understand, while Silva continues to be linked with every club under the sun (or cloud, as the case may be in England).

Both are very decent players and able replacements for Xabi. £30mill is a nice sum in the pocket too.

Aquilani had his medical today & the fee is somewhere in the region of £20m.

Darren Bent finally went to Sunderland for £10m & deal could rise to £16.5m. According to an article I read today Darren Bent has scored as many Premier League goals as Frank Lampard between the 05/06 season & now 49 goals! If Harry Rednapp actually reckons his wife is a better striker than Bent why doesnt she play for Spurs even Chelsea
