Just posting to let you guys know I've not topped myself over Everton's recent form. Though it's surely only a matter of time.

Most likely. Which is a pity, really. It's hardly an prestigious competition and a cup is a cup. I'd certainly rate it higher than the Carling Cup.

Also we have so many bloody injuries at the minute that I'm just going to pretend the last five games didn't happen.

The Robert Enke thing was very sad indeed

World Cup qualifying reaches its conclusion this weekend and Wednesday next week. Three places left from Africa, four from Europe and two from the Uruguay v Costa Rica/Bahrain v New Zealand games. Come on Ireland!

I am hoping for a Bahrain win. No offence to BoB, it's just that Bahrain are on PES 10 and New Zealand aren't.

(similarly I hope Egypt overcome Algeria)

Will be tough for Egypt, they have to win by at least three goals, or win by two goals and then beat Algeria again in a one-off playoff on neutral ground a few days later.

If we are to have a hope in this tie, I believe we need to keep a clean sheet at home. A 1-0 would even be ideal. Come on my boys I know you can do it!
