#9  Activate JKTrix broken record Almost anything by Yoko Kanno. This includes:
Yoko Kanno is awesome. She has so many excellent songs it's hard for me to select just a few to highlight (because I would start listening to them and get sidetracked, and never finish the post). I'm listening to a tune from Wolf's Rain right now. I would watch an anime just because she worked on it. Macross Frontier, here I come. Other favourites (though to a much lesser degree) are Kenji Kawai and Taku Iwasaki. |

 | Putting Yoko Kanno and Yuki Kajiura aside, there are some noteworthy composers. Such as Ayako Otsuka who worked on Zegapain, Masanori Sasaji who worked on Loveless and Hikaru Nanase work on Chrno Crusade. As for specific songs themselves there are a few I like: Stephanie - Friends (Gundam 00 2nd ED) Kaori Hikita - Muchiyuki (Loveless ED) Orange Range - ~Asteriks~ (Bleach 1st OP) The Stand Up - Hateshinaku Tooi Sora ni (Kyou Kara Maoh! OP) The Stand Up - Suteki na Shiwase (Kyou Kara Maoh! 1st ED) BON'z - Arigatou~ (Kyou Kara Maoh! 2nd ED) L'Arc~en~Ciel - Ready, Steady Go! (Fullmetal Alchemist 2nd OP) Kumiko Noma - Lilium (Elfen Lied OP) Suga Shikao - 19 sai (xxxHOLiC OP) And probably others I missed. :/ |
