Yeah, they're both Intel Core 2 Duo. I just didn't want to write it twice. As far as RAM, 2GB is the standard with a Pro. If I want any more than that, it'd be cheaper to buy it and install it myself (or more likely have a friend do it for me).

And how much faster exactly is 200MHz? Is it noticeably faster?
The only reason I'm even considering the better hardware is because I can imagine wanting to dual boot for games in the future. As it is, part of the reason I don't want to is because I don't have any games that I want to play, but I won't pretend that it's not very likely that down the road there will be some things that grab my attention. For some reason my dad seems to support the idea of dual-booting, although I'm not quite sure he understands the what the purpose of that would be.
