Hey . . . so . . . why does everybody need their organization member thing to have a bladed weapon. Except that guy with the outrageous artillery. I swear. No originality truly exists today.

.....They don't, it's just what happened. And I'd say a bladed sitar is a rather original weapon.

Blades are good. Cant do much with blunt weapons. Except to certain areas.

Most of the orginazations weapons are creative. No one has anything simple. I mean, Xigbar has his....um...whatever they are, Xaldin has his floating spears, Saix has a HUGE claymore, Axel has dual chakrams, Demyx has the sitar, Luxord has cards, Marluxia has his pink scythe, Larxene has her claws, and Roxas has his keyblades. Which reminds me, I read in a wiki entry that Zexion (the only organization member you dont fight) has a weapon, but what is it?

And bladed weapons can actually cause much more pain, and you dont need to reload them. Plus, it takes more skill to sucessfully fight with a sword than mindlessly fire a gun.
