The star of the game was originally Mickey, but i don't know why they changed it, but they switched to an original character. Sora was based on Mickey, and you can see vague similarities between the two: they both have white gloves, BIG yellow shoes and red shorts.

I never knew that either. Still, it makes sense. I think it also explains where Sora gets his crown necklace from. He's based on the king!

Which character is "on" your party during a short period of time(as in you fight along with them), but becasue of his current status, you cannot restore their HP. . .
